Greetings Friends,
First of all, please pray as I meet with a group of elders who are leading a good-sized church in Wisconsin down a path never travelled before. They have read some of my books and want to move further in the direction of unity, five-fold ministry and the free flow of the Holy Spirit in their meetings. We will be sharing practical ideas and praying together for God's wisdom. Thanks for you prayers.
MARCH MADNESS
March can be a crazy month and March 2009 is no exception. From wild weather, to sports, to political craziness, we are very much into March Madness this year.
I don't need to comment on weather and sports, but I have to say something about our political situation. I have held my peace for some time, but I know that some of you are wondering what I feel about what is going on.
For those in Illinois, I was informed that our state legislators are trying to pass their own FOCA - Freedom of Choice Act. This act removes every possible restriction to abortion on demand, decreeing that every woman, no matter how young has this right to kill her baby at any stage of pregnancy. Please, if you live in Illinois, find a way to contact your state representative and ask him or her to vote no on HB 2354. It may take a little research if you don't know what congressional district you live in, but please do what I did and figure it out and then phone or write to your Illinois House Rep.
For all of us, we need to be aware of what is happening on the national level. First of all, pray that the exposure of evil would continue. This is necessary to make a way for righteousness and justice to return to America. Today marked the guilty plea of the biggest scam artist in the history of financial investments. Bernie Madoff is in jail, awaiting sentencing and prison after admitting swindling people out of $65 Billion. Another man has been arrested for swindling $8 Billion from innocent victims. These are clear fulfillments of the prophetic words from our friend, who said that great corruption would be exposed. This was spoken just before Governor Blegojevich was arrested. We still are waiting to hear what was recorded on the ex-governor's phone calls from other political officials. Those should come out soon - maybe even this month.
For those who missed it earlier, my friend has acknowledged that he got emotionally involved with the word God had given him and assumed things that God did not clearly say, believing that Obama would not be inaugurated because he would be exposed. Many intercessors had dreams which seemed to corroborate this conclusion. What he is sure of is that there will be an extended period of up to two years in which all kinds of corruption is exposed. The end result is that America will be finally ready for the right kind of change. They will want honesty and integrity and spiritual leadership. I personally still believe there will be some big surprises on the political front before too long.
For the record, we have seen an amazing number of new government appointees exposed for failure to pay taxes. Another potential appointee just withdrew after his record for badmouthing Israel and his conflict of interest with Saudi Arabia, etc. was revealed. Other nominees have had connections with a Socialist/Communist party.
The thing that is most dangerous to me is the way that so many controversial changes are being slipped in with so little fanfare and so little time for Christians to react. We just get alarmed about one thing and another thing is being passed by a very liberal congress. While everyone is focused on the economy and the way our new leaders are handling it, liberals are pushing through pro-abortion funding, stem-cell research funding, lowering benefits for charitable donations, etc. Our new administration is doing as much as it can, as fast as it can, to bring about a socialist and anti-Christian transformation of our nation.
What is happening in America reminds me of what happened in Canada a few decades ago when a certain liberal Prime Minister took office. He changed laws regarding sodomy, etc., and Canada took a very ungodly pathway. Churches in Canada have to submit to a lot of government control in their finances, etc. They have lost freedoms quickly and now accept it as normal. Gay marriages have also caused great problems for the legal system, according to a Canadian friend who has seen the results.
Most Americans have no idea what is going on other than the financial bailout. Most people who voted for Barak Obama have no idea what his agenda is and are happy as long as they get help from the government, even though it will cost their kids and grandkids trillions of dollars in debt.
In effect, our legislators and presidents have assumed that they have a credit card with no limit. When you get a new credit card with a high limit, you feel good. It's there if you need it. You don't feel broke and poor. Soon the credit piles up and you don't feel rich any more. Than the extra fees and raised interest rates and declining income put you in a pressure cooker financially. This is what our government is doing and has been doing in the past. But never in the history of America have we come even close to the reckless spending we are seeing today. We may see a temporary recovery - a feeling of temporary well-being, but don't count on it to last. Only God's intervention, which is coming will save America.
Finally, we are being made more and more aware that promises mean nothing to our new president. Words are just words. Promises will be kept later, when it's more convenient. For now we can make excuses and use our popularity to get away with it. I have noticed though that if people begin to make waves and the waves get too big he will back off and try something else. We must try to be vigilant and do what we can to slow down the liberal machine momentum.
We must pray and we must act when we can.
Yes, I do believe God has an amazing plan for America and the harvest of souls. I believe we will be revived and not destroyed, although we will experience more chastisement. But God will help His saints through every trial and prepare us for our greatest days coming right up.

WEEKEND LADIES RETREATBrenda and our OHM team had very rewarding ministry at Cross Wind Community Church in Genoa this weekend. Brenda and the team did a lot of personal prophetic ministry and Brenda spoke on Saturday afternoon. She was really on fire again and the 120 ladies loved it. It's her fifth or sixth time at that retreat and many people shared testimonies of how our ministry had touched them in the past. It was very, very encouraging. I was at our book table and heard many such reports from some precious saints.This weekend I will minister to an elders' retreat in Wisconsin. AMAZING GRACE

WOW!!!!!
God came and spread His amazing grace all over our conference. From start to finish we experienced the Joy of the Harvest. God was gathering speakers and saints from different countries, states and churches into one harvest barn and preparing us to be seed for sowing and the bread of life for the world. Because of other factors, such as numerous other meetings and conferences in the region, the attendance was less than some previous times, but the anointing and obvious presence of the Holy Spirit and His ministering angels was greater than ever before.
PERSONAL MINISTRY
Brenda and I received several powerful prophetic words from some of the speakers and we feel like God has taken us to a new place in His glory as Joshua Mills prophesied. Jeff Jansen added that we would be placing our mantel on many Elisha's. Jim Paul said that God was turning back the clock and renewing our youth. We are happy to receive all such words.
We also had prophetic and healing ministry teams that ministered to people during the lunch break. In addition, we offered dream interpretation during both breaks and many took advantage of these ministries.
SIGNS AND WONDERS IN THE GLORY
Miracles abounded throughout the conference. It started off with oil filling Joshua Mills' hands as he spoke, right after he gave us a word. Then healings and creative miracles began to take place. We had several testimonies reported to us, but there were dozens of people who raised their hands to indicate that they had received a physical touch from the Lord.
A lot of pain disappeared in various parts of the body, including a recent newer member of our OHM team, named Joy. She hadn't been pain free in her feet when walking or standing for fifteen years. She was totally healed during David Tomberlin's Saturday morning meeting, and could walk on her toes, which she had not been able to do without extreme pain. Another lady had three vertebrae fused together and after Jeff Jansen called out the particular vertebrae numbers, she was able to move her neck in every direction for the first time.
Here's another testimony sent in last night by a lady named Lori, whose son is engaged to a gal named Grace.
"Grace received a healing: She was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. She's only 20 years old. It's been a problem for her. She has pain, on and off, and she drops things. I'm sure there's more that she has struggled with, but I'm just getting to know her. I don't remember which day, but in one of the evening services, she was in so much pain that her eyes filled with tears while she was sitting in the service. She left the sanctuary and tried moving around to see if it would help, but it didn't. She came back to her seat and was in obvious pain. That's when you asked for the young people to come to the front. She hesitated, but went. She said that as soon as she reached the front, all of the pain left her body. She stayed at the front for the rest of the time and came back to where I was, smiling!"
OUTSTANDING WORSHIP
The worship, led mostly by our OHM worship team, and organized by our son, Tim, went to new levels every day. We sensed a lot of angelic activity and some strong prophetic proclamations took place during and after the worship. We were blessed also with Damon Stuart and Terri Delaney, as well as Valencia and Ken Peters. Another blessing was when our Korean friend named Ock Park played anointed music on the keyboard as Brenda and I spoke.
The speakers offered a wonderful variety of messages and ministry. They included Joshua Mills, Jim Paul, Jeff Jansen, David Tomberlin, Ken Peters, Ben and Brenda Peters, Lisa Bourland, Valerie Coltman, along with other team members, who shared what God was doing with OHM.
Although we were quite exhausted by Saturday, David Tomberlin had an amazing ability to keep our attention with some of the most hilarious stories, especially from his personal testimony. We will be blessed to have him return for some meetings at the end of June.

KINGS AND KINGDOMS

ON THE CALENDAR
This weekend, Brenda will be speaking at the Genoa, IL, Cross Winds Church at a ladies retreat.
The next weekend, I will minister at an elders retreat in Wisconsin.
On March 19, I will minister to The Father's House in Janesville, Wisconsin.
On March 24-27 we are scheduled to be at our IAM CONVENING in Dover, Florida.
On April 3-5 we will host Ron and Glenda Petty, authors of Heaven Is Real. Friday evening will be a public meeting. Saturday will be dedicated to our team members and Sunday they will minister at 5C's Church in Rockford.
We will put up other events later. Summer includes a trip to Mozambique and a trip to Korea, back to back.
THANKS AND PRAYER REQUESTS
We are extremely grateful to all our team members and all those who attended and helped and gave at the conference. We always feel the pressure of paying all the conference bills and blessing our speakers, since we operate totally by faith, which is not always as strong as it should be. We charge no registration fees and have no deep pockets of our own to cover expenses. Somehow, God sent us enough people with big hearts to help us cover the basic needs of the conference.
Many traveling ministries are feeling the pressure of the economic crisis. Please pray for all such ministries, that God would show us all His supernatural power. If you are one who has lost work or income, we pray that God will reveal His power and glory to you as well.
AMERICA IN CRISIS
The greatest crisis is not the economy. The problem in the economy is both a symptom of the real problem and the key to the blessings of God, including the great transfer of wealth to the righteous. Meanwhile, the extreme liberal leaders from the president down are slipping in as many socialist and anti-Christian changes as fast as they can, knowing their time is limited. We are praying for God to continue to expose the motives and corruption of those who are serving both their own selfish purposes and the enemy of our souls. There is much more corruption to be revealed. I pray it will come quickly before more damage is done.

1. Jesus is with us and we will fear no evil. 2. The problems with the economy should cause more people to turn to the Lord. 3. God has an amazing plan to take back America and many other nations. 4. He has a plan to bring in an incredible harvest. He will transfer much wealth from the wicked to His Kingdom for the harvest. 5. He is scheduled to show up at our conference which starts on Wednesday.
JOY OF THE HARVEST CONFERENCE

Joshua has experienced amazing miracles and the most common is gold dust (a prophetic sign of the coming glory of God). NEW MEMBER OF THE PETERS CLAN
After a long Saturday night, Sunday morning and much of Sunday afternoon, our daughter, Barbie gave birth at her home in Seattle to a healthy 9 lb, 14 oz, 21 inch, baby boy, named Ocean Munoz. We don't know his middle name yet and can't get anyone on the phone right now. Brenda was therewith Barbie a few days before the birth and is arriving home tonight. She was with Barbie for the whole ordeal and ended up very physically and emotionally exhausted along with Barbie.

FINAL KOREA REPORT

Greetings Friends,
We're home from Korea after a turbulent flight (for the first six hours or so), and are now adjusting to the nine hours time change. Brenda is taking a little medication and still recovering.
FINAL DAYS IN KOREA
Our last day in Kwang Ju and our two services at the Agape Seminary were extremely blessed. Again, many were touched by prophetic ministry, teaching, and impartation prayer. But we were also touched by the kindness and generosity of these wonderful people. They show so much love and honor that it is almost overwhelming at times.
I was personally blessed again by a wonderful dose of the Holy Spirit's anointing as I spoke and taught the Word of God. I was given several prophetic words for the nation and revelation flowed, even as I preached, as the hunger of the people drew on the anointing in a powerful way.
Koreans have a special role to play in the global harvest. I learned that Korea sends out more missionaries than any other nation except for America. I believe that God wants us to partner with them in the days ahead for the support of Israel and for a "bumper crop" harvest around the world. Everywhere we went, I asked them to pray earnestly for America. They are a praying nation and with their prayers joining ours, I believe America can be turned around.

Greetings Friends,
We're home from Korea after a turbulent flight (for the first six hours or so), and are now adjusting to the nine hours time change. Brenda is taking a little medication and still recovering.
FINAL DAYS IN KOREA
Our last day in Kwang Ju and our two services at the Agape Seminary were extremely blessed. Again, many were touched by prophetic ministry, teaching, and impartation prayer. But we were also touched by the kindness and generosity of these wonderful people. They show so much love and honor that it is almost overwhelming at times.
I was personally blessed again by a wonderful dose of the Holy Spirit's anointing as I spoke and taught the Word of God. I was given several prophetic words for the nation and revelation flowed, even as I preached, as the hunger of the people drew on the anointing in a powerful way.
Koreans have a special role to play in the global harvest. I learned that Korea sends out more missionaries than any other nation except for America. I believe that God wants us to partner with them in the days ahead for the support of Israel and for a "bumper crop" harvest around the world. Everywhere we went, I asked them to pray earnestly for America. They are a praying nation and with their prayers joining ours, I believe America can be turned around.
KINGS AND KINGDOMS - ANOINTING A NEW GENERATION OF KINGS TO SERVE THE KING OF KINGS

Greetings again from Korea. God has done great things for us, and we are very grateful to Him.
SUNDAY SERVICES
Our first service on Sunday afternoon was a youth service. Jess and Kevin did the speaking. There were probably 300 youth there. It was an awesome service. Both were speaking publicly for the first time and did amazing. Many youth were touched and came for prayer.
Sunday night was a packed house of 600-700 if I estimated correctly. It's a Presbyterian church, which, like many, is breaking loose from their denominational traditions. I really felt the fire on me as I preached on unity, and we saw some immediate breakthroughs. Many people raised their hands that they had been healed. Jess and Brenda and I had specific words of knowledge.
Most Koreans are too shy to speak into the microphone, but we began to hear some great testimonies. Eyesight restoration and skin problems healed. Brenda saw a vision of Jesus giving someone a baby. In a previous meeting in Seoul, I gave a word about one deaf ear. The lady came for prayer and she began to hear in the deaf ear.
MONDAY - TUESDAY CONFERENCE
On Monday we spoke only in the evening and again the fire fell as I shared how God was moving on the younger generation. I did some research and discovered that the average age of the last six good kings of Judah from Joash to Josiah was seventeen years old when they began their reign. I found that amazing. Again we had more healings take place.
OUR MOST THRILLING TESTIMONY
On Monday night a lady came forward to testify that she had been barren for 17 years. She had come with a ultrasound showing that she was pregnant. We didn't know who she was and realized that it was only one day since Brenda gave the vision-word. However, after the meeting she came to where we were and we recognized her.
It was a lady we had ministered to last November. She and her husband had ministered to us with massages and served us with refreshments during the meetings at a different church in Kwang Ju. We had heard of her barrenness and had great compassion for her. She and her husband were a very precious couple. We thought they were still younger but just found out she is about 44 years old. We had prayed for them and Brenda was sure God was telling her that she would yet have her baby. That was in November and three months later she is six weeks pregnant. We just hugged her and hugged her while she wept in our arms. It was one of the most rewarding things Brenda could have received from God, especially with all the physical attacks she has suffered.
BRENDA'S HEALTH
Thank you all who have prayed for Brenda. She is pretty much over the nausea and back pain, but has the remnants of a virus attack. It involves sinus and throat mostly and yesterday (Tuesday) she began to lose her voice. She was scheduled to speak in the afternoon and God gave her enough voice to speak and it was amazing. A LITTLE WORD ON AMERICA'S JOURNEY
I am so grateful that God has a plan to bring America back to Himself. I get the news on the internet here and I feel very grieved as I read report after report of what our liberal president and congress are slipping into their "emergency" stimulous plan and other executive decisions. Anit-Christian discrimination is increasing again and political corruption and earmark spending are incredible as we prepare to bankrupt our nation and our future generations. Many acknowledge we are heading full-speed ahead for a European type of socialism. So many things are happening so fast, we have little time as Christians to react enough to stop anything. It's really time to pray and act in whatever way we can.
More corruption has been exposed and yet more is on the brink of exposure on several fronts. We have now three major politicians who admit cheating the government out of thousands of dollars of taxes. Two were confirmed anyway by the liberal congress. The other withdrew his name. I could go on and share more information I have received, but I just ask you to pray that God would deliver us from evil and that His Kingdom would come and His will would be done on earth as it is in Heaven. His Kingdom comes through us, His kings on earth, as we submit to His Kingship.

KOREA REPORT #3

Greetings Saints,
We are now in Kwang Ju, in the southern part of South Korea. We have been here several times before but in a different ministry. In a few hours Kevin and Jess will minister to a youth group, perhaps 250 kids. Please pray for them. They have had a powerful anointing to prophesy and anoint people.
PASTOR'S CONFERENCE REPORT
First of all, we had a misunderstanding as to how many pastors and leaders would be there. We heard it would be 700 people or so. I don't know exactly where that number came from, but it was certainly an exaggeration. There were probably about 200 people, almost all pastors and wives. That was still a great group of pastors from different denominations who came together for three days.
Sadly, Brenda was not fully recovered and had some severe back pain as a result of her sickness and throwing up for several hours in a bad position. She still spent many hours prophesying, but hardly spoke at all to the group. She believes it is some kind of a virus or flu bug, because it is still affecting her and she is still eating very cautiously. We appreciate so many who have prayed and written us encouraging letters.
The good that came out of this was that Jess and Kevin have grown to an absolute new level in ministry. They worked with us in teams and they worked with each other when we weren't available. Every pastor and wife received personal ministry before the three days were up and they did a lot of it.
The anointing on us was very strong. I shared on God's passion for unity, revival and harvest, the great youth anointing for the harvest and a number of other things that the Holy Spirit prompted me to speak. I believe we broke through some strongholds of culture and tradition and released a stong anointing for revival.
The response of the pastors and wives was amazing and tremendously heart-warming. After a final anointing and impartation time where we layed hands on each one, many of them came up to say good-bye the only way they could with little or no English. Many men came and hugged me with tears rolling down their cheeks. Korean men don't cry that easy, but these pastors were so powerfully impacted that they didn't care. God had touched them and changed them forever.
Many came with my Korean books to sign and others wanted photos with me. I have seldom felt more loved and appreciated, but I know it was all about what the Holy Spirit had done in their lives. I had no prepared messages. I spoke only what I was hearing God tell me to speak. Each message developed as I spoke and I was amazed again at how good God is at putting a message together. All the Scriptures, stories and insights fit together like a beautiful puzzle when it was all completed. All I had to do was listen and speak what I heard.
The conference team had to drag me away to take me to our next destination. It had been an amazing three days and all the while Brenda was hurting and still serving love and vision to the pastors and wives in a little ministry room. I honor her and respect and love her more than ever before. God is even taking our marriage to a higher level through it all. Please pray that she can finish this journey feeling well.
COMING RIGHT UP
After our conference here in Kwang Ju, we go back to Seoul for two sessions at Agape Seminary. Then on Friday we head back to the USA to get ready for our big conference. Brenda will make another short trip back to Seattle. Our daughter Barbie is "great with child" and due any day. Brenda hopes her timing is perfect for the delivery. Brenda's parents are also not doing very well and she wants to see them again. They are 86 and 87.
THE JOY OF THE HARVEST CONFERENCE February 25-28 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, will be a life-changing event for hundreds of people. Each speaker has a dynamic ministry that is unique and impacting. We look for great breakthroughs from Heaven.

Greetings everyone,
Just have a few minutes before we start ministering again.
We finished an amazing conference last night. Such hunger and such a flow of the Holy Spirit through so many. Jessica and Kevin are doing awesome. The people really love them. The anointing flowed on everything that happened. Speaking was so easy and fun with the Holy Spirit guiding me in what to say from start to finish.
Before dinner last night Brenda was not feeling well so they took her to the motel. Without me knowing what was going on she started vomiting and continued for about 6 hours till I got home at 11 pm. By about 1 a.m. she knew she needed help and the hotel manager took us to the hospital emergency room. They put her on I.V. for a few hours and sent her back to the hotel about 6 a.m. She's recovering nicely but we're not sure exactly what the problem was, since we don't have any test results. They did seem to know what they were doing and were very wonderful to us. The whole treatment cost about $200, just a fraction of what it would have cost us at home.
Tonight (Thursday) we start speaking to a crowd of about 700, mostly pastors and wives at one of Korea's Prayer Mountains. We already started personal ministry and it has been very precious. One couple had two boys with them - about 8 and 10. They both began to weep when we spoke words over them. Our hearts just melted.
Please pray as we spend three days here with the pastors and wives. They are due for a new wave of revival. God is uniting us in the Spirit and God has chosen us to bring them a message of hope and destiny for their nation.
Please don't forget our awesome conference coming up in Kenosha, Wisconsin, at Lake Shore Tabernacle, February 25 - 28. It will be stupendous.

Greetings from the amazing place called South Korea. We had a good flight over on Korean Airlines with an empty seat beside us for the 14 hour trip. We had a little time to rest and then ministered to a few people in the hotel.
Yesterday (it's already Monday here), we ministered in a church about an hour away. The worship was awesome and the people were very responsive, as always. We also met some wonderful people, including a former kick-boxing champion who was our interpreter. He had been a gangster and met the Lord later in life and went straight to seminary without ever having been in church. Needless to say, he had a few problems adjusting to the seminary standards.
After the Sunday morning speaking time, we ministered to about 25 families. That took until about 4:30 or 5 pm. Then we went out to eat and ministered a bit more at the Italian restaurant. We got back to the hotel about 8::30 or so. It was a very intense day to say the least.
Today, we begin our first of three back-to-back conferences. We invite your prayers for strength and anointing to minister. Jessica and Kevin Seiler are doing a wonderful job of working with us and the intense schedule. Next week they will lead a youth service of about 350 young people. It will be part of a conference in a church that has 2000 members.
We are all doing pretty well physically. We wake up a lot during the night because of jet-lag.

Greetings from the amazing place called South Korea. We had a good flight over on Korean Airlines with an empty seat beside us for the 14 hour trip. We had a little time to rest and then ministered to a few people in the hotel.
Yesterday (it's already Monday here), we ministered in a church about an hour away. The worship was awesome and the people were very responsive, as always. We also met some wonderful people, including a former kick-boxing champion who was our interpreter. He had been a gangster and met the Lord later in life and went straight to seminary without ever having been in church. Needless to say, he had a few problems adjusting to the seminary standards.
After the Sunday morning speaking time, we ministered to about 25 families. That took until about 4:30 or 5 pm. Then we went out to eat and ministered a bit more at the Italian restaurant. We got back to the hotel about 8::30 or so. It was a very intense day to say the least.
Today, we begin our first of three back-to-back conferences. We invite your prayers for strength and anointing to minister. Jessica and Kevin Seiler are doing a wonderful job of working with us and the intense schedule. Next week they will lead a youth service of about 350 young people. It will be part of a conference in a church that has 2000 members.
We are all doing pretty well physically. We wake up a lot during the night because of jet-lag.

POLITICAL MEDITATIONS

As promised, here are my thoughts on the recent political events:
MEDITATIONS ON THE ELECTIONS, INAUGURATION AND OUR NEW GOVERNMENT

Disclaimer: This is my personal opinion as an individual American, not an endorsing of any candidate by our ministry.
Since well before the 2008 primaries began, I have been passionately observing the electoral process and actively encouraging people to get involved in prayer and voting. I have listened, watched and read countless political news reports and commentaries.
I have also been in touch with top prophetic leaders and attended huge rallies and gatherings to fast and pray for revival and for the elections. I have, for several decades, carried a huge burden for revival and reformation and know that we suffer consequences for our decisions, both as individuals and as a nation. After an analysis of the current political situation, I will share some of the prophetic perspective I have received, including where we have obviously missed it.
THE POSITIVE SIDE
Most Christian leaders agree with me that electing an African American president is in itself a huge mark of progress for America. This could not have happened just a few years ago. Prejudice is declining and we thank God for that. Secondly, Obama’s election and inauguration brought incredible happiness to millions of African Americans and other minorities. Who was not moved by the excitement and the tears of joy of millions of African Americans who were thrilled that one of their people was now at the top? It was a powerful experience for them.
And let me say clearly and with all sincerity that they deserve to be blessed in this way. We do owe them so much more than that. Black Americans have suffered emotional, financial and physical pain at the hands of the majority who first enslaved them, then continued to humiliate them with segregation, and still often put them down in ways that are still legal. Praise God, we have come as far as we have. But we know that we still have a long way to go.
Brenda and I dearly love African Americans and all minorities and love to minister in their churches. They are so responsive to our ministry and the love that God has put in our hearts for them. We want only the best for them.
THE NEGATIVE SIDE
At the same time, we agree that the particular choice that America has made is extremely tragic, given the terrible policies that have already begun to be put into play. Most people know about them, but millions of Christians and conservatives have fallen for the message of “change” from the mouth of a charismatic young “knight in shining armor”.
THE CHANGE MESSAGE
I want to say something about change. Whenever a candidate uses that campaign theme, I know what they’re up to. They know that things aren’t going so well and they want to capitalize on the national discontent. They may have no positive answers, but it’s easy to promise change and to deliver it. Change is easy. Positive change is another story. But people mistakenly equate change to mean something better, when it could just as easily mean something worse.
Change in itself is not a positive word unless you have sunk so low that things can’t get any worse. I’ve travelled to many third world nations and believe me, things can get a lot worse than they are here today. But it doesn’t take a politician to bring change. Hurricanes, tornados and wild fires have brought change to many communities. Sickness, disease, death and traffic accidents can bring great change to your life.
The great depression and two world wars brought a lot of change. September 11, 2001, brought great change to America. Drought, floods and earthquakes have also introduced significant change, but is that what we want from our government? In fact, we are headed for some terrible negative change unless God extends His mercy, which is what I am strongly counting on.
POLICIES THAT DESTROY LIVES AND OUR FUTURE
Change that Barak Obama is bringing include forcing us as Americans to help pay for the murder of unborn babies in foreign countries through our taxes. We all have their blood on our hands as Americans. It took him only a day or two to bring this terrible change.
Another change that Barak has promised and quickly posted on his government website as soon as he was inaugurated was support for the gay-lesbian agenda. That means forcing all states to accept gay marriages according to a university law professor speaking on national television.
The most horrendous policy of all was promised to Planned Parenthood during the election campaign. Obama would sign the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) as soon as he got it on his desk. This act removes each and every restriction in every state on abortion. Brutal and barbaric procedures such as partial birth abortions will be totally legal and hospitals and medical centers will be required to offer this “service” to their customers. Catholic hospitals are threatening to shut down rather than be forced to perform abortions. This could devastate our health care system in America.
Financial policies are the least important compared to the above tragic policies, but, Obama’s financial policies are also pushing us closer to financial disaster in the near future. Even if things seem to get a little better for a while, we are igniting the wick of an explosive bomb. It’s just a matter of time and America will be buried deep in debt without God’s intervention.
WHO IS BARAK OBAMA?
Not many people really know, nor do they seem to care. They know he apparently won our election and was inaugurated as president of the United States. They know he is part African American and part white and lived in a number of places, including Indonesia. They know he has had a good law education and quickly moved up the political ladder, using Chicago politics to advance his career.
We do know he has no real experience in the executive branch of government, which was very obvious his first week in power. Yet Obama’s campaign launched a major assault to discredit Sarah Palin for her lack of experience. Of course, she had far more experience than he did after being mayor for six years and governor of Alaska another two years. We do know that he promised transparency throughout the election campaign, but so much of his own past is covered with opaque plates of steel. We do know a few things about him, but what we don’t know is what could totally change everything when the hidden truth is revealed.
What don’t we know?
1. We don’t know where he was born for sure. We know he produced a Hawaii “Certification of Birth”, but not a true birth certificate. The “certification of birth” which has no doctor’s signature or hospital information, is issued for children born outside the country as well as those born in the state, so it doesn’t prove anything. If he was born in Hawaii, wouldn’t the hospital be proud of it and boast about it? Why do all the hospitals deny that he was born in them? Can anyone find a medical institution in Hawaii that will claim him?
Did his grandmother claim that she was at his birth in Kenya or not? I listened to a poor recording of what was supposed to be an interview of his grandmother through an interpreter. They claimed she said she was there when he was born. One man who was investigating these claims went to Kenya to do more research, but was sent back by the government to prevent him from talking to the natives and getting any real proof.
2. We don’t know much about his college education. We don’t know for sure who paid for it. Some evidence points to a Saudi billionaire, with connections to some of the founders of the Black Panthers, but the facts are buried as deep as possible. We also don’t know anything about the papers that he wrote or much of anything that went on during his college years at Occidental College, Colombia University or Harvard Law School. They refuse to release any information. So much for transparency!
3. We don’t know how deeply he was involved with a number of less than honorable Illinois politicians and educators, not to mention pastors. His associations, from Reverend Wright to William Ayers are cloaked in mystery. We know they raised money for each other and helped the same causes. We know that many previous and present “Chicago Machine” politicians have a scandalous reputation. Before the current situation with Rod Blagojevich, three former Illinois governors have gone to prison in the past thirty-five years, and many others have been in legal trouble as a result of their abuse of power.
4. We don’t know where a lot of his campaign money came from. It is believed by many that a large amount of money was given illegally, but with so many ways of donating using internet technology, etc., no one can prove it. Where is the transparency here? We know that he failed to keep his word regarding accepting government financing for his campaign, giving himself a huge advantage financially over John McCain.
5. We don’t know how much election fraud occurred. We know that ACORN was caught in numerous voter registration fraud situations and that Obama was working previously with one of their affiliate organizations as a “community organizer”. We know that in Minnesota there are a number of counties with many more votes than those that registered at the polls. We know that PBS did a documentary showing how computer voting could be changed after the vote.
6. We don’t know how much Barak Obama is committed to the philosophy of socialism. Every indication so far is that he believes in big government rather than free enterprise and his idea of change is a socialistic society like many nations of Europe. His economic stimulus plan focuses mostly on creating more government jobs rather than helping small businesses with significant tax breaks to help them hire more people and create private sector jobs.
7. We don’t know what will come of the thousands of recorded phone calls to and from Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich, whom Barak Obama supported for governor of Illinois. The senate impeachment trial begins this week. The criminal trial against him may take another two or three months, but we don’t know what will come out when all the tapes have been reviewed.
WHO CARES?
Most of the above issues were brought up by concerned conservatives during the campaign, but with most of the media in Obama’s corner, or in his pocket, they didn’t get any significant publicity. Even Fox News stayed safely away from the birth certificate issue and with their silence, they allowed the Supreme Court to quietly decline to take a closer look at it several times. Even a Democrat politician from Ohio launched a suit to force Hawaii to produce an actual birth certificate.
But most of America is so fearful of losing their jobs and investments and so excited about their new “Knight in Shining Armor”, that they don’t want to believe that he could make things worse rather than better. There is such a messiah complex about him that it is really scary. The whole world has gone after him, as the Pharisees said of Jesus, but Barak Obama is not the messiah and he will not lead us to Utopia or Heaven.
MAKING SENSE OF PROPHETIC INPUT ON THE POLITICAL FRONT
As I mentioned at the beginning, I’ve been involved on all fronts as much as possible, including the prophetic realm. During the campaign, we had a number of high level prophetic people speaking about the elections. Not many came out with specific predictions, but some had words about the importance of the Vice Presidential nominee. When Sarah Palin was chosen by John McCain, we were very excited.
When one prophetic leader heard from God, before Sarah was announced, that a woman, who was presently forty-four years old, would be our president some day, it was a powerful confirmation and indicated to us that she would help John McCain get elected and then take over whenever he left office. But I personally felt that God had given me some confirming words for the election and some of our own team members and intercessors had confirming dreams and words. The positive evidence seemed to be overwhelming.
Other prophetic leaders rallied hundreds of thousands of Christians world-wide to fast and pray for the elections. I was present at some of the rallies and felt that God had heard our prayers and would answer them. It seemed Heaven was opened and I knew God would give us a miracle. As I shared before, watching the election results coming in was a terrible experience for many of us who knew how high the stakes really were.
But when a prophetic friend of mine had a prophetic encounter, it gave us great hope. This unnamed friend has received many detailed words from God that have proven accurate. One of these was that a very significant event would happen on September 11. The problem was that he got the word back in 1998, if I remember correctly. He was really embarrassed when nothing happened that year, after telling his friends about the word. He learned a lesson then about understanding the timing of prophetic words.
THE WORD FROM GOD
In the two days after the election and again some days after that, my friend received some very significant words, most of which I can’t reveal. The first thing he received was to keep praying – that it wasn’t over yet. He thought at first that God had said that Obama would not be inaugurated, but he later stated that he was not sure about that one part of the word. One of his intercessors had a dream that said that he would be in office for a very short time, and he told me it could happen that way. I, of course, did not want to believe it would happen that way, knowing how much damage Obama could do in the first few days of his administration.
The most important thing I can reveal is that he said that a lot of corruption would be exposed, over a period of two years. It would have a domino effect and corruption would be exposed in the election, the candidates, the political parties, the financial bailout, Wall Street and corporate America. There would be a time of crisis and chaos when no one knew who was really in control.
Within a few days, the exposure of corruption began to take place. Our Illinois governor and his chief of staff was arrested. Then it was revealed that a man named Madoff, had made off with $50 billion from his victims’ investments. We know that these men did not do what they did alone. Many others will be exposed who have assisted them.
My friend also said that he believed the election would be reversed and John McCain would become president. My friend shared some of the prophetic information with some of his intercessors – about 60 – 70 friends. Within a few days he had nine or ten responses from people who had confirming dreams. He then sent these out for confirmation. This is an incredibly high percentage of people having confirming dreams out of no more than seventy people.
CONFIRMING DREAMS
These dreams were amazing and fascinating. At least three of them clearly said that Obama’s election was fraudulent. One dream showed him partying, as they did at the inauguration and then it was revealed that he had actually lost the election. He and his wife left in anger and embarrassment. Another quick dream showed the election boxes on TV when suddenly Obama’s numbers went “poof” and his votes declared null and void.
A child dreamed that some of Obama’s votes, represented by two differently colored stakes in the ground, were not true votes and McCain actually won. Obama was in a hot air balloon crossing the country for ten days telling everyone he had won, when the announcement came that he had lost. Someone shot the hot air balloon with an arrow and it came crashing down.
Two co-pastors had identical dreams, long before the election, in which they saw President Bush making an announcement during a time of great crisis, asking the country for permission to be in office longer to get them through the crisis. This is also what my friend had shared with me after the election.
Other dreams had John McCain winning the election in a surprise way with confusion and amazement on the part of the people. Another dream had Sarah Palin in the Oval Office with others around her.
PERSONAL EXPECTATIONS AND DISAPPOINTMENT
With all these confirmations, I was holding on to hope that exposure would come before or during the inauguration. I realize now how devastating and traumatizing the latter would have been to the nation, especially the African Americans, who had finally something amazing to celebrate. God loves America and the down-trodden people who deserve to have something to rejoice about.
After the inauguration, I had an incredible heaviness and knew I needed to go somewhere to purge my pent-up emotions. I knew I had inspired hope in many that the election would be reversed before the inauguration. I had a few taunting e-mails before the inauguration, declaring that I was wrong and would have to eat crow. I spent a good hour sobbing on my face on the floor, asking God what was going on.
A lot of meditation on the situation has taken place, especially on the long drive from Orlando back to Chicago. I sense a certain peace that God is still going to keep His word and surprise us. My friend agrees that we need to have patience and see what God will do. There are many possibilities, but we’ve tried to guess how God would do it before and missed it. This time we need to wait and see.
My sincere apologies to anyone who was hurt by my previous words regarding the elections. I hope clarity comes soon. I acknowledge that I missed God’s timing and trust that in the end the results will verify that the core message of the prophetic words will be confirmed. I have not lost hope. I do not believe we have a legitimately elected president in the White House today. I find it very difficult to call him president.
If all the prophetic words and dreams do not come true, I will continue to seek God as to what He is up to. But for now, I have a strong hope and I have received some clear confirmation in Scripture that God will still bring these words to pass.
I want to share a Scripture that God has highlighted to me from the book of Esther, as she appeals to her king for deliverance from Haman's evil plan.
“For how can I endure to see the evil that will come to my people? Or how can I endure to see the destruction of my countrymen?” (Esther 8:6)
This was confirmed yesterday when I received a forward from a letter by Chuck Pierce, a leading prophetic voice. He saw a tall spirit standing behind Obama, that was smiling and saying to him, “I have more access than ever before.” God told Chuck to prepare for a new level of warfare.
I ask you all to ask yourself the same question. Will you pray harder than ever for our nation. We should not have quit interceding when the election was over. We must pick it up now to a new level. Very few people have heard what I have shared. It may be dangerous for me to do this, but I want you to pray.
A WORD OF GREAT HOPE
God has also given me great hope and excitement for the future. When the dust has cleared, I believe God will raise up someone who truly knows and loves Him, who will be given the tools to bring great restoration to America and give all the credit to a supernatural God. I believe we will see some amazing and wonderful changes take place.
Why do I believe this? I do have some private confirmation, but I also have some biblical precedent. I believe that God still has a purpose and plan for America. In many ways, God treats America similar to the way He treats Israel. Israel is still very important to God, but I believe America will continue to be a partner with Israel in these days.
Ezekiel 36 gives us a beautiful picture of what God will do for Israel. In spite of her sins and problems of the past, God promises to restore her to her land and to bless and prosper her. He makes it clear that it is not because of Israel’s goodness or faithfulness, but in spite of her lack of those things. Rather, He is restoring Israel for His own name’s sake – for His own reputation and purposes. Then He declares that after He has shown Israel His goodness, they will remember their sin and repent for it.
Notice the reverse order to the normal. Usually we must first confess our sins as in II Chronicles 7:14. Then we can expect restoration. But Ezekiel 36 shows the opposite order. First He restores and then we confess and repent. I believe that this is what God will do for America, for His own name’s sake. He has big plans to use us in the great harvest of souls that has just begun.
So please keep praying and don’t stop no matter what happens.

As I mentioned at the beginning, I’ve been involved on all fronts as much as possible, including the prophetic realm. During the campaign, we had a number of high level prophetic people speaking about the elections. Not many came out with specific predictions, but some had words about the importance of the Vice Presidential nominee. When Sarah Palin was chosen by John McCain, we were very excited.
When one prophetic leader heard from God, before Sarah was announced, that a woman, who was presently forty-four years old, would be our president some day, it was a powerful confirmation and indicated to us that she would help John McCain get elected and then take over whenever he left office. But I personally felt that God had given me some confirming words for the election and some of our own team members and intercessors had confirming dreams and words. The positive evidence seemed to be overwhelming.
Other prophetic leaders rallied hundreds of thousands of Christians world-wide to fast and pray for the elections. I was present at some of the rallies and felt that God had heard our prayers and would answer them. It seemed Heaven was opened and I knew God would give us a miracle. As I shared before, watching the election results coming in was a terrible experience for many of us who knew how high the stakes really were.
But when a prophetic friend of mine had a prophetic encounter, it gave us great hope. This unnamed friend has received many detailed words from God that have proven accurate. One of these was that a very significant event would happen on September 11. The problem was that he got the word back in 1998, if I remember correctly. He was really embarrassed when nothing happened that year, after telling his friends about the word. He learned a lesson then about understanding the timing of prophetic words.
THE WORD FROM GOD
In the two days after the election and again some days after that, my friend received some very significant words, most of which I can’t reveal. The first thing he received was to keep praying – that it wasn’t over yet. He thought at first that God had said that Obama would not be inaugurated, but he later stated that he was not sure about that one part of the word. One of his intercessors had a dream that said that he would be in office for a very short time, and he told me it could happen that way. I, of course, did not want to believe it would happen that way, knowing how much damage Obama could do in the first few days of his administration.
The most important thing I can reveal is that he said that a lot of corruption would be exposed, over a period of two years. It would have a domino effect and corruption would be exposed in the election, the candidates, the political parties, the financial bailout, Wall Street and corporate America. There would be a time of crisis and chaos when no one knew who was really in control.
Within a few days, the exposure of corruption began to take place. Our Illinois governor and his chief of staff was arrested. Then it was revealed that a man named Madoff, had made off with $50 billion from his victims’ investments. We know that these men did not do what they did alone. Many others will be exposed who have assisted them.
My friend also said that he believed the election would be reversed and John McCain would become president. My friend shared some of the prophetic information with some of his intercessors – about 60 – 70 friends. Within a few days he had nine or ten responses from people who had confirming dreams. He then sent these out for confirmation. This is an incredibly high percentage of people having confirming dreams out of no more than seventy people.
CONFIRMING DREAMS
These dreams were amazing and fascinating. At least three of them clearly said that Obama’s election was fraudulent. One dream showed him partying, as they did at the inauguration and then it was revealed that he had actually lost the election. He and his wife left in anger and embarrassment. Another quick dream showed the election boxes on TV when suddenly Obama’s numbers went “poof” and his votes declared null and void.
A child dreamed that some of Obama’s votes, represented by two differently colored stakes in the ground, were not true votes and McCain actually won. Obama was in a hot air balloon crossing the country for ten days telling everyone he had won, when the announcement came that he had lost. Someone shot the hot air balloon with an arrow and it came crashing down.
Two co-pastors had identical dreams, long before the election, in which they saw President Bush making an announcement during a time of great crisis, asking the country for permission to be in office longer to get them through the crisis. This is also what my friend had shared with me after the election.
Other dreams had John McCain winning the election in a surprise way with confusion and amazement on the part of the people. Another dream had Sarah Palin in the Oval Office with others around her.
PERSONAL EXPECTATIONS AND DISAPPOINTMENT
With all these confirmations, I was holding on to hope that exposure would come before or during the inauguration. I realize now how devastating and traumatizing the latter would have been to the nation, especially the African Americans, who had finally something amazing to celebrate. God loves America and the down-trodden people who deserve to have something to rejoice about.
After the inauguration, I had an incredible heaviness and knew I needed to go somewhere to purge my pent-up emotions. I knew I had inspired hope in many that the election would be reversed before the inauguration. I had a few taunting e-mails before the inauguration, declaring that I was wrong and would have to eat crow. I spent a good hour sobbing on my face on the floor, asking God what was going on.
A lot of meditation on the situation has taken place, especially on the long drive from Orlando back to Chicago. I sense a certain peace that God is still going to keep His word and surprise us. My friend agrees that we need to have patience and see what God will do. There are many possibilities, but we’ve tried to guess how God would do it before and missed it. This time we need to wait and see.
My sincere apologies to anyone who was hurt by my previous words regarding the elections. I hope clarity comes soon. I acknowledge that I missed God’s timing and trust that in the end the results will verify that the core message of the prophetic words will be confirmed. I have not lost hope. I do not believe we have a legitimately elected president in the White House today. I find it very difficult to call him president.
If all the prophetic words and dreams do not come true, I will continue to seek God as to what He is up to. But for now, I have a strong hope and I have received some clear confirmation in Scripture that God will still bring these words to pass.
I want to share a Scripture that God has highlighted to me from the book of Esther, as she appeals to her king for deliverance from Haman's evil plan.
“For how can I endure to see the evil that will come to my people? Or how can I endure to see the destruction of my countrymen?” (Esther 8:6)
This was confirmed yesterday when I received a forward from a letter by Chuck Pierce, a leading prophetic voice. He saw a tall spirit standing behind Obama, that was smiling and saying to him, “I have more access than ever before.” God told Chuck to prepare for a new level of warfare.
I ask you all to ask yourself the same question. Will you pray harder than ever for our nation. We should not have quit interceding when the election was over. We must pick it up now to a new level. Very few people have heard what I have shared. It may be dangerous for me to do this, but I want you to pray.
A WORD OF GREAT HOPE
God has also given me great hope and excitement for the future. When the dust has cleared, I believe God will raise up someone who truly knows and loves Him, who will be given the tools to bring great restoration to America and give all the credit to a supernatural God. I believe we will see some amazing and wonderful changes take place.
Why do I believe this? I do have some private confirmation, but I also have some biblical precedent. I believe that God still has a purpose and plan for America. In many ways, God treats America similar to the way He treats Israel. Israel is still very important to God, but I believe America will continue to be a partner with Israel in these days.
Ezekiel 36 gives us a beautiful picture of what God will do for Israel. In spite of her sins and problems of the past, God promises to restore her to her land and to bless and prosper her. He makes it clear that it is not because of Israel’s goodness or faithfulness, but in spite of her lack of those things. Rather, He is restoring Israel for His own name’s sake – for His own reputation and purposes. Then He declares that after He has shown Israel His goodness, they will remember their sin and repent for it.
Notice the reverse order to the normal. Usually we must first confess our sins as in II Chronicles 7:14. Then we can expect restoration. But Ezekiel 36 shows the opposite order. First He restores and then we confess and repent. I believe that this is what God will do for America, for His own name’s sake. He has big plans to use us in the great harvest of souls that has just begun.
So please keep praying and don’t stop no matter what happens.

MINISTRY TRIP TO SOME WARMER PLACES
We had a very full and busy ten days or so as we ministered in Ohio, Florida and Kentucky. We even spent a few hours at a Florida beach one day when it was warm enough. That evening we ministered for several hours at the Revival Outreach Center in Dover, Florida. We also ministered at the House of Hope in Orlando a number of times and Brenda was kept extra busy speaking into scores of people's lives.
We saw a lot of fruit including some physical healings, after some unusual words of knowledge. Mostly, we saw people touched in their hearts, which God opened up and filled with His love. I was able to finish the new book on Kings and Kingdoms and share some of these new revelations with a couple of church's and many individual leaders.
One of the most exciting events was when we heard another couple with an unusual ministry. They wrote the book Heaven Is Real and were recently on Sid Roth's "It's Supernatural" show. We both got personal ministry and God really touched us in a powerful way.
Last night we shared at The Father's House in Henderson, Kentucky. They split up the men and women as they do normally on Thursday nights after worship. Brenda ministered to about 30 ladies and I taught about 20 men on fulfilling their roles as kings under the King of Kings. Many commented that God had really ministered to them.
COMING MAJOR EVENTS
We leave for Korea next Thursday for about two weeks. Please pray for us. Our intern, Jessica Seiler, and her brother, Kevin Seiler, will be going with us. They will be working hard along side of us. We will have a busy schedule, and will be ministering to a whole conference full of hundreds of pastors and leaders at a prayer mountain. We will minister at two other conferences and a seminary. We totally depend on God's anointing to carry us and do need your prayers.
Our upcoming major conference, 'THE JOY OF THE HARVEST" will be at Lakeshore Tabernacle in Kenosha, Wisconsin, just north of Chicago and south of Milwaukee. Dates are Feb. 25-28. Please check out our conference brochure at http://ohmint.org/conferences.html. We are very excited about our speakers, including Jeff Janzen, Joshua Mills, David Tomberlin, Ken Peters and Jim Paul.
POLITICAL C0NTEMPLATIONS
I know many of our readers recall our predictions before and after the presidential elections in the USA. Clearly, again, we were not right on with our predictions. I have had a few days to mourn, ask myself and God many questions and meditate as I drove home. I was not able to watch the inauguration because of meetings, but got the news after the fact. I have many things on my mind to share with you all, but Brenda is cautioning me to spend more time seeking God before I say too much.
I will say now that I believe we had a problem interpretating the prophetic words and dreams. We assumed certain things, using natural logic. The main problem as usual, is the timing of the events. Prophetic people, as the Scripture says, often don't know when their words will be fulfilled. I do believe that most of the events we predicted will take place but in a different way than we expected. I want to say more now, but will hold off for two or three days.
So please keep praying for us and for America. God wants to bless us and surprise us with His mercy and goodness. God gave me a fresh revelation from Isaiah 55. God is so ready to "abundantly pardon". His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways. We would bring judgment, He brings mercy first. He will still pardon America. Exciting Times

Greetings Precious Friends,
We are indeed living in exciting and eventful times. Illinois has been in the news lately and there will be more news coming. Brenda and I chose a great time to minister in Florida, because it's -20F in South Beloit this morning. I haven't experienced that since our early married years in Saskatchewan. I do remember -40 in high school. I walked to school a few blocks away, just like always.
Along with a little ministry at House of Hope in Orlando, we will speak on Sunday evening at the ROC (Revival Outreach Center) in Dover, Florida at 7 pm. We will be connecting with some of our friends in IAM, (International Apostolic Ministries).
We would like all prayer warriors to pray for a friend named Joanne. She needs a physical touch and a good report from some medical tests. We prayed for her the other night on our way to Florida.
I'm trying to finish a brand new book called Kings and Kingdoms while in Florida. It contains some new and exciting revelations which I believe the body of Christ needs to hear. I want it published before our conference the last week of February. The other book I have been working on is on hold. It is a much larger book and will not be released until God's perfect timing. I'm hoping that won't be too much longer.
I want to pass on announcements for some friends who are hosting special meetings. You can check them out for yourselves.

Our beloved Jill went home to be with Jesus - naturally at 9:48pm CST. Thank you all for standing with us and praying. She is now with her best friend, Holy Spirit, and Dancing with Her Destiny.
For those of you who are just reading this, on January 6th, doctors found that her intestines were twisted, cutting off her blood supply, after which infection set in. Doctors said that if she wasn't in surgery within a day, she would be gone. She did have surgery and also underwent a second emergency surgery. Jill had part of her stomach, part of her intestines and part of her colon removed, but her body was unable to recover, and God called her home.

Greetings Saints,
We trust you have all had some wonderful times of fellowship with loved ones in the past couple of weeks. 2008 was a turbulent year and a call to America and the world to look up and seek the favor and mercy of God.
2009 - A YEAR TO ALIGN.
First of all we will align with the will and ways of God and His Kingdom like never before. We will discover new and better ways to do things that will advance God's agenda better than the old ways. We will learn how to align our thoughts with God's thoughts and renew our minds through the Word and worship. I believe more Christians will discover the blessings of reading or listening to Scripture. Pure worship in Spirit and Truth will also be practiced more and more by those who want to get closer to God.
Secondly, we will align with other Christians. God is connecting His children to each other in new and unusual ways. He wants us to know who we can stand with and work with for the sake of His Kingdom. There will be a greater crossing of boundaries of race, denomination, generation and culture than ever before. We will connect with people through divine appointments and electronic media. These connections will not be nearly as organizational as they will be soul and spirit connections.
These new alignments will produce strong teamwork with small teams and with larger teams with common purpose and vision. Like a hunter lines up his rifle sights with his target, so God is aligning us to hit God's targets together. These targets are miracles signs and wonders, which will produce salvation and honor and glory for God.
2009 - A YEAR OF SHAKING AND REARRANGING
I do predict this year will see a lot of shaking and rearranging in politics, the economy and society. I still anticipate some more political fireworks. I think we have just seen the tip of the iceberg. Hold on to your hats and see what happens next in political chaos and corruption exposure. The end results will be very positive. I have a very optimistic faith in America's future with God.
2009 - A YEAR OF GREAT SPIRITUAL PROGRESS
I believe many ministries, including ours, will take some giant steps forward in fulfilling our vision and calling from God. Release of human resources and finances in miraculous ways, utilizing some of the divine connections mentioned above, will propel us into exciting new days of growth and fruitfulness.

Christmas Greetings to the Children of the King of Kings,
We have much to rejoice in, though the world is reeling and drifting without an anchor. We have the knowledge that we are safe in His hands and He is our refuge and strength, a VERY PRESENT help in time of trouble.
As usual, our family is home more in December with fewer meetings, and we will spend more time with each other. I am working on a book on Kings and Kingdoms in my spare time. We have also spent a little time with our team, looking forward to what's coming in the New Year.
Actually, I've never been more excited about a New Year. I believe this year will be full of surprises. Some of these may be very troubling to many, but the Kingdom of God will make powerful gains over the Kingdom of darkness. I believe our world will change drastically for the better and our Chicago Sending Center will begin to really function.

A SEASON OF STORMS
We are in what some folk are calling a perfect storm. Most of us have never seen the likes of these days in our life-times. Although I believe we have free will to make decisions, I also know that God works His plan in spite of our stupid choices. I believe the storms we are in have been created by the greed and corruption of many of our leaders, but I also believe that God will use the storms we are in to bring about the renewal that America and the world need. Sooner or later, people will begin to cry out to God when they realize our leaders have no real answers, except to dig a deeper pit for future generations.
The corruption exposure in Illinois is just the first domino. Many more will be coming down. Don't expect the crisis to pass quickly. Keep praying that corruption will be exposed and removed from government as God desires. God still has a great purpose for America and will bring wonderful revival and then use America to help bring in the great harvest coming soon.
BLESSINGS ON THE ROAD
I just returned from a one week road trip to Florida. On the way there I ministered in Henderson, Kentucky. I always get blessed there as I'm treated as a Papa to the congregation at The Father's House. It was another very special time of ministry and many were touched by God.
In Orlando, I ministered at the House of Hope to the young people and the parents at the House of Hope. There was a wonderful response as God gave me a great love and a special word for the group.
Next, I attended the ICA convention, led by Dr. C. Peter Wagner. It was a very powerful time of interaction with many wonderful leaders in the Kingdom, such as, Dutch Sheets, Chuck Pierce, Cindy Jacobs, Bill Hamon, Cal Pierce, and so many more. It was a very profitable time for me, challenging me to go to a new level in a number of areas.
Meanwhile, Brenda was serving her parents and other members of the family in Washington State. She returned pretty exhausted and has been getting some rest in the last few days.
COMING UP NEXT
We have a couple of private meetings Monday and Tuesday and then another one on December 30. It's the normal slow schedule for December. Our next scheduled public meetings in Illinois will be our big conference, the last week of February - the 25th to the 28th. Before that we will be two weeks in Korea again for some larger conferences.
WE VALUE YOUR PRAYERS
We believe our nation and our ministry are heading for major transition and change and we need God's help to make the adjustments needed. We need much wisdom and strength in this unusual time in history. Our home fellowship outreach is growing and our vision is still in the baby step stage compared to what we anticipate beginning this year. So please pray for us as much as you can.

PROPHETIC CONFUSION

Greetings Saints,
It's about 6 degrees Fahrenheit at the moment, but the sun is shining beautifully on the sparkling new snow. It's lovely from the inside looking out. Fortunately, I have a conference in Florida to attend next week and I'll be heading down there on Saturday, stopping in Henderson, Kentucky for Sunday services there. I'll have to suffer the loss of the beautiful snow, but don't feel too sorry for me.
Meanwhile, Brenda arrived safely in Seattle last night and will motor on eastward to Soap Lake to be with her 86+ year old parents for a few days.
Please pray for us during this season. We can't share much, but we do need prayer for certain situations.
Also, continue to pray for truth and righteousness to prevail in America. Pray that what is being hidden by forces of wickedness will be revealed and that God would truly have his way in our land. It is our job to pray that His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. If it happened automatically, Jesus would have not asked us to pray for it to happen.

PROPHETIC CONFUSION IN TIMES OF TURMOIL

I received a letter recently from a sincere woman who was struggling deeply with the fact that so many prophetic voices were saying such radically different things about the election results and the economy. She no longer knew whom to believe. Her spiritual discernment was overtaxed and unable to give her any clear answers. Like her, we have heard of some prophetic people pronouncing nothing but judgment on America and the church, and others pronouncing unprecedented prosperity and peace. Some want to accept the president-elect as a gift from God, and some probably want him to die a premature death before January 20, 2009.
The lady who wrote me is just one of multitudes of Christians who are looking for someone in the prophetic movement to lead them out of the State of Confusion and into the Place of Peace that Passes Understanding. Passing understanding means to me that we not only understand what is happening, but we are actually moving on to get involved in the next event on God’s calendar, because we have peace in our hearts for what is going on in the present.
REASONS FOR PROPHETIC CONFUSION
1. Deception
Whenever God is ready to make a major move on the earth, the enemy will use whatever tricks he can to bring confusion into the camp. He always finds vessels he can use. These are usually the ones who really want to become known as “prophets” of God. They want to impress people and they listen to any voice that comes to their spirit and mind. They don’t intend to deceive. They believe they are hearing from God, but their motives and pride allow deception to come in. They will usually be very heavy on the judgment side or the grace side with little understanding of the heart of God.
2. Extrapolation
The biggest reason for the confusion, in my opinion, is not the completely deceived prophets who are on the fringe, because not many people pay that much attention to them. The biggest reason for confusion is that prophets that we DO respect often see just a part of the whole picture and try to build a bigger picture from the one small piece. It’s the kind of thing that evolutionists do all the time when they find one or two dinosaur bones.
Also imagine someone giving you one small piece of a one thousand-piece puzzle and asking you to recreate the whole puzzle picture from the single piece. If a thousand people tried to do that, they would come up with a thousand different pictures. Prophetic people often get a word or a picture and draw unwarranted conclusions from a small piece of the whole. The problem is that they have no idea how big the whole picture is. Often we assume our piece actually IS the whole picture.
For example, some prophets are seeing a whole lot of judgment coming on America very soon. They feel that it is too late to change our ways. We need to bunker down and get through it. There are others who see Jesus coming very soon to rapture the church, so we can escape the tribulation, while others see us going through some or all of it before Jesus returns.
Others see the vision of a new wave of blessing coming on America. They extrapolate from this that we will not have to go through the judgments of God and we will enjoy a new season of restored prosperity for the rest of our days.
3. The Need to be Right
The biggest reason that we can’t clear up the confusion for the poor folk who are looking to us for clarity is that very few prophetic ministries have demonstrated the humility needed to admit when they have been wrong or when they have extrapolated from the small part they have received to produce what they felt was the whole picture. All of us are born, it seems, with the need to be “right”. We feel that we will lose respect if we admit we were wrong. Prophets are no different. We have seen many prophets’ words fall to the ground without them offering so much as an explanation, much less an apology.
For the sake of the Kingdom of God and its progress on the earth, we must remedy this source of reproach. True prophets and prophetic ministry are critically needed in these last days, but Christians who are taking a serious look at the prophetic movement are quickly turned off by this lack of integrity. Others, who still reject it outright, find excuse to mock and attack. The unsaved find more reasons to reject Christ and the Father’s heart is caused more grief.
A PERSONAL TAKE ON CURRENT EVENTS
Before the elections and the economic implosion, I felt that God had given me several revelatory words regarding these subjects. Some came from biblical examples as downloads while I was speaking or preparing to speak in church revival meetings. These were my personal encouragements that kept my faith strong that we would see the results that we and others were earnestly praying for.
I was also getting much input from highly respected prophetic leaders like Lou Engles and Dutch Sheets. I also have a highly prophetic friend who must remain anonymous at this time. In addition, I was hearing of dreams and visions from close, but not well-known, friends. These all indicated to us that we would see the desired results on election day. I published my expectations in our newsletters and waited for a major upset on election night. God had promised a surprise, and I was ready for a last inning miracle rally.
The next day, after the results were in, I published an apology for missing it. I told our readers that we, in the prophetic movement, still have a long ways to go to learn to hear from God more clearly. My prophetic friend, was also in shock after the elections and determined to find out what God was saying and why he had missed it so badly.
In the next few days, he had some radical encounters with God and shared some of the details with me. What God shared with him would clear up much of the confusion regarding the elections and the economy. The biggest problem seemed to be that we had all put God in a box and assumed that His answer (His surprise) would come on election night. It seems that God had a better plan and a bigger surprise.
We continue to wait on God and get ready for whatever happens in the next few weeks and months. I believe God has heard our cry for mercy and will hold back major judgment, but we will surely go through some very rough times and chaotic situations to cause us to cry out for help. I believe strongly that there is a huge harvest to reap and a tremendous transfer of wealth coming to empower the harvesters and it will come out of the ashes of economic chaos. I believe God is setting the stage in ways that man has not yet figured out. Yes, I do believe I am right, but if I am not, I will be quick to apologize for adding confusion to the prophetic mix.
SOME CONCLUSIONS
We should be slow to judge and quick to forgive those who are speaking things that don’t pan out the way they expected. We all see only in part. Even Paul included himself in this. At the same time we need to be quick to repent and admit our own limited spiritual vision.
If prophetic people learn to listen to each other, they may see more of the big picture and lead fewer people into deception. We must lose our right to be right and regain our right to love out of a pure heart fervently.
True humility will go a long way to extricate the prophetic movement from the State of Confusion and bring us safely into the Place of Peace that Passes Understanding. Then we can get on with God’s agenda for the coming days, weeks, months and years.

A CHANGE OF SEASON

CHANGING SEASON, COLD WINDS, WARM HEARTS
It's getting cold and we have snow on the ground and more coming down. It's December now, we won't get above freezing today, and we know for sure that summer is over and gone until later in 2009. Why do we have to endure another four months of cold weather before Spring begins to take hold? We're getting older and the idea of being a "snowbird" and heading south for the winter is sounding better every year.
But it seems the cold weather always brings out the warm hearts. Along with the hot chocolate and crackling fireplace, people find ways to get their pleasure and love from others and give it back again. Their hearts seem to warm up to one another when the warmth of the sun is diminished. And with the coming of Christmas, people's thoughts focus on giving even more. So hang in there. We will all get through this time and summer will return. For those living in Hawaii, Florida or Southern California, we're not jealous, but expect a visit soon!
EVENTFUL CONFERENCE
I got a cold this weekend and lost my voice, etc., during the conference. With no voice and heavy snow coming down where we were, after a home meeting ministry time in Huntley, and more snow predicted through the night, we had to cancel our final service at the Palbok church conference in Vernon Hills on Sunday evening..
Until then, it had been an amazing time with wonderful ministry thanks to our ministry team, which included Jack and Maria Prato, Jonathan Seiver, Jessie Seiler and several others, along with interpreters. Many stayed until 1 A M Sunday morning after the Saturday evening service to get personal ministry from the team.
There was a very strong anointing on our speaking and minsitry time. My voice was OK until after the second service. The hungry Korean folk, as well as quite a few non-Koreans, drew the anointing out of us like a huge vacuum cleaner. Fresh revelation came with each speaking session and the people ate it up like hungry kids eating desert before the meal.
During ministry time, one Korean lady, who spoke a little English, brought another lady to me to receive Jesus as Savior. I had the wonderful privilege of praying with her and leading her to Jesus. A number of younger children were also visibly touched. One young boy, about 9 years old, began weeping and I just held him in my arms for some time.
TRAGIC SITUATION - PLEASE PRAY
Brenda's brother wrote last night to tell us that his son-in-law, TJ, had been driving a four wheel Jeep up in the mountains with his best friend, John. His car slippled off the road and fell down a cliff, well over 100 feet down, rolling seven times and killing John. John was his mother's only child and she is also going through a divorce at the same time. TJ is bruised and in pain physically, but his emotional pain is unimaginable. Please pray for him, his mother, his wife, Jessica (our niece) and all the family members.
Our two grandkids, Micah and Karis Peters, were also in a car accident, which totaled an SUV, but they are fine. Micah's face is swollen some after he hit his face on the back of the front seat, but he had no serious injuries.
DECEMBER PLANS
We have some traveling to do and would appreciate your prayers. Both the boys and Brenda will be spending a little time in Washington State with family. Brenda is going to focus on helping her mom and dad prepare for Christmas, etc. Her dad will be 87 before Christmas and her mom is 86. Brenda wants to bring her dad home for a few days from the Care Center and see how they can handle things with him at home. He has some dimentia and is always asking when he can go home. He is really a miracle, thanks to a lot of prayer. We thought we had lost him three or four years ago, but he has made a remarkable recovery.
I'll be headed for Orlando for a conference next week, with some ministry on the way in Kentucky this coming Sunday and possibly the House of Hope with Vance Murphy on Tuesday. After we all return we have a couple of ministry dates in mid-December with private groups.
FEBRUARY PLANS
We have little on the schedule, as usual, for late December and most of January, but February is looking quite busy. First of all, we will be doing several conferences in Korea the first two weeks of February, and then we will be hosting our own conference the last week of February in the Chicago region. Please consider coming to this wonderful conference.
THE JOY OF THE HARVEST CONFERENCE
Our speakers will be Joshua Mills, Jeff Jansen, David Tomberlin and Jim Paul, along with our family and team. This will be our first conference in about ten months that we have been the sole sponsors of. The location will be Kenosha, Wisconsin, about an hour from north Chicago. You can fly in to Milwaukee or O'Hare. The dates are February 25 - 28. I believe these prophetic voices will have a timely word for all of us during a time of tremendous economic and political transition.

John was his mother's only child and she is also going through a divorce at the same time. TJ is bruised and in pain physically, but his emotional pain is unimaginable. Please pray for him, his mother, his wife, Jessica (our niece) and all the family members.
Our two grandkids, Micah and Karis Peters, were also in a car accident, which totaled an SUV, but they are fine. Micah's face is swollen some after he hit his face on the back of the front seat, but he had no serious injuries.
DECEMBER PLANS
We have some traveling to do and would appreciate your prayers. Both the boys and Brenda will be spending a little time in Washington State with family. Brenda is going to focus on helping her mom and dad prepare for Christmas, etc. Her dad will be 87 before Christmas and her mom is 86. Brenda wants to bring her dad home for a few days from the Care Center and see how they can handle things with him at home. He has some dimentia and is always asking when he can go home. He is really a miracle, thanks to a lot of prayer. We thought we had lost him three or four years ago, but he has made a remarkable recovery.
I'll be headed for Orlando for a conference next week, with some ministry on the way in Kentucky this coming Sunday and possibly the House of Hope with Vance Murphy on Tuesday. After we all return we have a couple of ministry dates in mid-December with private groups.
FEBRUARY PLANS
We have little on the schedule, as usual, for late December and most of January, but February is looking quite busy. First of all, we will be doing several conferences in Korea the first two weeks of February, and then we will be hosting our own conference the last week of February in the Chicago region. Please consider coming to this wonderful conference.
THE JOY OF THE HARVEST CONFERENCE
Our speakers will be Joshua Mills, Jeff Jansen, David Tomberlin and Jim Paul, along with our family and team. This will be our first conference in about ten months that we have been the sole sponsors of. The location will be Kenosha, Wisconsin, about an hour from north Chicago. You can fly in to Milwaukee or O'Hare. The dates are February 25 - 28. I believe these prophetic voices will have a timely word for all of us during a time of tremendous economic and political transition.

Dear Friends,
Here's an urgent prayer request from our dear ex-marine friends who have been in Africa since they came with us in July.
My dearest friends and family,
It is with the greatest urgency and sincerity that I am asking you to pray and fast for my Father, William Ostrand. In the past few hours he has had tremendous difficulties with his body, including organ failure, immense swelling, and an almost complete shut down of his lungs. The doctors are expecting him to pass away within the next few days, even within the next few hours. But we serve a God that surpasses what is seen, who uses the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. We are believing and contending together as a family for breakthrough and the miraculous to occur. We are EXPECTING a complete invasion of heaven on earth, and His now captive body to be set free. Please, I am pleading with the blood of Jesus, to proclaim and contend with us for a complete transformation and healing in his body.
Mike and I are still in Pemba and are leaving immediately for Kentucky. We are praying for extraordinary favor to make it home in less that two days. Please pray for our Mom and little brother, Eric. This is the most difficult thing we've ever gone through, and would give everything to be with them all right now. Thank you for carrying this burden with us and also sharing in the victory of His ever increasing grace and mercy over my Dad's body. Please pass this along to all intercessors. Expecting complete transformation,
