Greetings Friends,
March is one-third gone and Spring is on the way in the northern hemisphere. Here In northern Illinois, we are very grateful and full of faith that we won't have much more snow until next winter. It's a season for hope. New life is beginning to Spring up. There's more sunshine and less darkness. Surely, God has established seasons to remind us that our dark and dreary times have to come to an end. It's time to "Rise, shine, for our Light has come."
So many of our team and friends are going through severe attacks at the same time. We are being tested and have come to realize that we need to come together more to stand with each other and believe for the miracles that our brothers and sisters need. This is a year for winning wars, but we must come together as a united army and not try to fight our battles alone.
The key is that we focus on someone else's needs and let God lay our burdens on others to hold us up. Another key is that we understand that our battle is not about us, it's about the enemy trying to hurt the whole body of Christ and disable it one member at a time. If he can separate us from each other, he can pick us off one by one, but if we stay with the team, he has no chance.
MARCH CHALLENGE
If you're reading the New Testament this month with us, you may have discovered that many of the chapters in the gospels are very long - especially Luke. But cheer up! If you have kept us so far, the rest will be easy. And if you're behind, it won't be too hard to catch up if you take 20 minutes or so each day.
MINISTRY REPORT
Since our last letter we have had some great meetings where God came and touched many people. He also helped us out of the ministry "box" we've found ourselves in. Some of our team members were with us in Madison last week and God used them in an awesome way. They were going to people in the crowd and prophesying and praying for them. We also began to move more into the healing ministry that Shawn Bolz prophesied over us and listened for words of knowledge as a team. Many were touched and we know that God did more than we could see.
We also had wonderful experiences this past weekend with the Unity Night - Heaven's Rehearsal project. We spoke at the Friday night banquet and were treated to some incredible music by world class musicians, Huntley Brown and Yuki Ishita. The next night we also heard Paul T. Finley, an amazing singer from the Carribean.
After the services we ministered to many of the guest speakers and musicians. Pastor Cruz from FaithWorld International Church invited us to minister at his church in Chicago the next morning. That was another awesome experience. There were many nationalities there in a church with about 1,000 members. I love preaching with live background music. They drank in the word that God gave me for them and I thank God for the opportunity.
Last night we ministered at a Korean Presbyterian Church in Chicago and God blessed these precious saints with words that touched their hearts.
UPCOMING MEETINGS
Tonight we will be at a home meeting in Wheaton and this weekend we will be in Albany, New York, for meetings at the Prayer and Healing Center and at a church in Schenectady on Sunday morning.
The following Saturday, March 22, we will be doing a one day Missions Prep 101 for those wanting to go to Mozambique. We don't have room this year for anyone that is not already signed up, but you are welcome to come to the training which will be in Grays Lake (Gages Lake) from 10 AM to 5 PM. If you are interested write to Jonathan Seiver - doulos2@gmail.com.
The final weekend in March we will be in Atlanta, Georgia, ministering at the Atlanta Revival Center with Vance Murphy. We anticipate great times there. Our daughter Barbie and her family are now there with the Murphys and having a wonderful time.
APRIL CONFERENCE - SOME CHANGES
We do have some changes to announce for the conference called SIGNS OF HIS GLORY, WONDER - FULL JOY April 23 - 26 at Lakeshore Tabernacle in Kenosha, just across the border into Wisconsin. The changes should be posted soon on the website with a revised brochure. The main change is that Jeff Jansen is not able to come because of an accidental double booking. He will be in South Africa instead. I know many of you will be very disappointed.
But we are delighted to have Vance Murphy with us for the Thursday morning and evening sessions, when Jeff would have spoken. He carries such a strong anointing with a pure heart. He is actually one of my favorite speakers now.
Our other speakers will all be coming. We will lead off Wednesday night with Rolland Baker. You don't want to miss what God is doing through him in these days. Friday night will be David Herzog and Saturday night will be Georgian Banov. They will also each speak once during the day sessions. Our son, Ken, will also be back for a day session and Brenda and I will minister some as well. It will be another off-the-charts conference. We are very excited about this one. Please try to come for as much as you can.
God bless you all and PLEASE KEEP PRAYING FOR US!!!

Dear Saints,
MARCH CHALLENGE
I'm thrilled with the response to our March Challenge. We have received many emails from people telling us they are joining us in reading through the New Testament in March. One asked that I republish the reading schedule. I'll do that at the bottom of this letter. I'm wondering if anyone is having trouble stopping at 9 or 10 chapters.
Here's a little hint at understanding the teachings of Jesus in the gospels. Jesus is trying to show them how high God's standards are and that they are basically impossible to keep. He is preparing them for the doctrine of Salvation by Grace. If anger and hatred equal murder, etc., then we must have a Savior who can forgive.
On the other hand, the miracles that Jesus did revealed His grace and mercy. His love for the common people and His teaching about children revealed the difference between the Kingdom of Heaven and the ways of man on earth. Jesus purpose in His teachings was to change the way people thought. He wanted to change them from being religious to being real and relational with God. I think He still is working on the same thing with Christians today. I trust we will get it better than the Pharisees.
DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES
We haven't said much about politics for awhile. We are at the point I talked about where there are few choices and there is little hope (according to all the public information) that we can vote for a candidate who really has our values. But tonight I got another letter from Lou Engle. I am holding out for a miracle. My heart has burned for this for months. I can't describe how important I feel this is for our future and the souls of millions of people here and around the world. I want to copy the letter now from Lou and let you pray for a miracle with us.
Dear Friends,
As the Texas 2008 Presidential primaries are upon us, we sense a rumble in the heavens. We hear from many prophetic voices about a miracle coming to Texas. The conscience of America is struggling to be heard amid the clashing cymbals of political platitudes and hollow promises of change. True change comes through the forceful prayers of God's people when founded on the ancient principles of the Word of God. Those principles fueled the pen of James Madison, author of the American Constitution.
Now once again a people must cry to God for a President who will challenge the status quo of American immorality and valiantly champion two Amendments to that Constitution: The Human Life Amendment and the Marriage Amendment. John Newton, the slave trader turned pastor and hymn writer once told a young boy named William Wilberforce in the movie Amazing Grace that he lived in the company of 20,000 Africans whom he sold into slavery, never even knowing their names. We live in the company of 50 million American aborted babies, whose silent cries continually reach heaven. Now is the time to stand in Texas where Roe v. Wade was first conceived and brought forth. Let us not live in this hour before the eyes of CNN and NBC but let us live before the eyes of our Creator who endowed us with certain unalienable rights; among these and foremost is the right to Life.
I had a dream regarding March Madness and that there would be madness intensified in the atmosphere over the elections in March. In the dream there was an OT (Overtime) and the (O) stood for Ohio and the (T) for Texas.
We believe there is spiritual warfare going on over these elections, a certain madness if you will. Chris had no idea of the significance that the Texas and Ohio primaries would hold. But if the church will pray and fast, more time could be given even though it looks like all time is out. God does not run His universe through polls and statistics. When earth invokes heaven all bets are off. Haman can be removed in a day and a pro-life Mordecai could experience a sovereign ascendancy. Texas is the Lone Star State. A young woman in the Scriptures was in an overtime moment when a death decree hung over her people. She called for three days of fasting and that which looked inevitable suddenly turned. Esther means "star", and as a lone star her call to fasting broke the death decree.
4 years ago we took TheCause along with Chris Berglund, Lou Engle and Chuck Mervin on the trail of tears then to the Call Dallas/Texas repenting for American Indian injustice with the view that out of that, abortion could end. Stunningly this past week the US Senate passed a bill to officially apologize to the American Indians for covenants that the government had broken with them. I believe that was just a beginning. We must strike, strike, and strike again until Roe v. Wade is overturned. That cannot happen unless a true pro-life President is elected and judges after God's heart are appointed. Therefore, once again we are calling a 3-day fast for Texas for those whose hearts burn over this issue. We will fast on March 1st - 3rd, just prior to the primaries on March 4th. Esther was in a "who knows" moment, and I believe all of America is in a "who knows" moment. But if we don't seize our day I tremble for my country. As Thomas Jefferson, another framer of the Constitution, said: "When I consider that God is just, I tremble for my country, for His justice will not sleep forever."
I hope many of you will take up this March challenge as well and pray fervently until Tuesday.

Greetings Friends,
Just time for a quick note to remind you of a couple of things.
1. Our March Challenge begins tomorrow if you haven't already begun. We have quite a few people who have taken up the challenge to read through the New Testament in the month of March. It won't be that hard and will be very rewarding. The challenge is to find special nuggets every day that will be a blessing to you and others. We are sensing that God is really bringing us back to the value of treasure hunting in His Word.
2. Next weekend we will be part of a unity gathering in the Chicago region. Brenda and I will be speaking on Friday night along with another gal from Venezuela, We may not be on the web-site because we were added later, but we anticipate open doors into the hearts of many people, many of them who are not involved in the prophetic at all. Please check it out at www.unitynight.org.
3. On Tuesday night we will be ministering in Madison. Location is Capitolland Christian Center, 3651 Maple Grove in Madison, Wisconsin. Starting time is 6:30
Please pray for us. We are getting hit in many ways and so are many people who are writing or calling us for prayer. Remember, this is the year we war and win, and don't forget we get the spoils when we win. So hang in there and fight for the King. You will earn a great reward for fighting the battles of the Lord.
Be blessed in Jesus,
Ben, Brenda, family and team

Greetings Saints,
We're home again and experiencing more warfare and getting more excited about it. You see this is the year after the "Crossing Over" and now we are possessing our possessions - our inheritance from God. But the Promised Land isn't given to us without a fight.
The exciting part is that WE WIN AND WE GET THE SPOILS OF WAR. When the enemy gangs up on us out of fear, he will do so at his own peril. We will make him pay with the salvation of souls, healing of physical and spiritual problems and financial provision to bring in the great harvest.
A NEW CHALLENGE
God has been speaking to me about stirring up the saints to rediscover the adventures of reading the Scriptures. This is a time of great revelation in the body of Christ and God has hidden deep and rich treasures in His Word - The Bible. While on our trip to Israel, during times of jet-lag awake time in the night, I was led to read larger than normal portions of Scripture. It was impacting and encouraging to me. I felt like God was encouraging me to challenge all of you to read through the New Testament in a one month time period. I'm challenging as many as possible to read the New Testament this March, 2008.
Here's my suggestion: Read an average of 7 chapters each day throughout the month of March. Here's a good breakdown.
March 1-3 Read Matthew
March 4,5 Read Mark
March 6-8 Read Luke
March 9-11 Read John
March 12-14 Read Acts
March 15-17 Read I and II Corinthians
March 18 Read Galatians, Ephesians
March 19 Read Philippians, Colossians
March 20-22 Read I and II Thessalonians, I Timothy
March 23 Read II Timothy, Titus, Philemon
March 24, 25 Read Hebrews
March 26 Read James, I and II Peter
March 27 Read I, II, III John, Jude
March 28-31 Read Revelation
If you are with me in this, I'd love to hear from you. I'll be glad to check up on you once or twice if you like. I believe if many of us read together, there will be great revelation and spiritual growth. There will come increased stability and faith for miracles. You will read the Logos and hear the Rhema.
Please don't forget to pray for us. We're working on the March schedule kind of late. We do a couple of meetings Tuesday and Wednesday in North East Illinois and have several things to get determined as to dates, including a possible early Missions Prep weekend. I'll try to keep you all updated. I have many things on my plate at the moment and need God's wisdom.
Brenda is getting better and should be ready for ministry tomorrow night.
God bless you all with grace and provision,
Ben, Brenda, family and team

Dear Friends and Prayer Warriors,
My apologies for not writing sooner. We have had an intense and eventful time in Israel. With a good representation from Chicago and friends from many places, we have witnessed a miracle in progress. We did not come to vacation or tour. We came with a mandate to bring what we have of Jesus to the Christians, Muslims and Jews in this land.
It has not been an easy journey. We have been involved in significant warfare and the Father's House has had to deal with various attacks over the last month or two. This is a place that is being fought over by many forces, natural and spiritual. Several have been quite sick. Brenda has been down the last couple of days and is on antibiotics, etc.
Our time did begin with three days of touring some sites in Jerusalem, Bethlehem and the Dead Sea region. The weather was not great, but we learned much and felt the burden for the people of the land. Then the main part of the mission began.
Under the leadership of Lisa and Vance of the Father's House, we helped feed and provide a party atmosphere for well over a thousand Palestinian refugee children on three or four separate days. We had amazing freedom to share the gospel with the children. In addition we served about two hundred, fifty widows a bag full of groceries. Many more people will be fed in the following weeks.
Most of the funding came from Georgian Banov's ministry. Georgian has such a heart for reaching people through feeding and playing lively music on his violin. Along with the above, we began the historic Bethlehem conference with a feast in a wedding banquet hall, where we fed hundreds of people a nice mid-eastern meal, including chicken and pita bread.
A group of Christians from Gaza attended. One of their family had been killed because he wouldn't close his Christian bookstore in Gaza. The family fled to Bethlehem where they are laying low until God opens a door for them to leave the area. Lisa wants to bring them to Kentucky.
The conference speakers included, Che Ahn, David Herzog, Georgian Banov and John Crowder. Most of the speakers brought large teams who came to be a part of the historic event. The conference brought many Arab Christians together with many pilgrims from all over the world. It was a very interesting time. There were several Arabs that responded to a call for salvation and there were many great testimonies of healings as well. We don't think anything like this has ever been accomplished in the west bank region before, especially in Bethlehem.
After three days of conference in Bethlehem, the team moved to Jerusalem and they had some great meetings there. God's eyes are on this region and we are glad to have a part in it. God told me that we were coming to bring a transfer of spiritual wealth to the people and the region that had given it to us in the first place. What would be have without the historic events in Bethlehem and Jerusalem?
In a few hours we get up at 2:45 AM to drive to Tel Aviv to catch our flight home. We carry a new burden for this land and for the faithful workers who live here.
I need to get this off before I lose it. We look forward to seeing many of you in the next little while. After we get home I'll try to catch you up on what else is going on and what is coming down the road. The future is truly exciting.
God bless you all,
Ben, Brenda, family and team

Dear Saints,
Please pray for Brenda as she speaks at the Crosswinds Community Church Ladies Retreat this weekend. We have been under some major and unusual attacks this past week and we know that God will show up in a powerful way. Our last few meetings have been very blessed with the presence of God, from the conference with Damon Stuart in Mount Prospect to several smaller meetings, but I believe this weekend will have something fresh and powerful for the scores of very hungry ladies who will attend, ready to move into new levels of obedience to the call of God on their lives.
Also please pray for us as we head to Israel on Monday for almost two weeks. We need God's strength and anointing as we don't know exactly what we will be doing there, other than supporting and encouraging those who work and live there. But we feel there are some major divine appointments and we have been commanded by God not to put Israel on the back burner any more. God's eyes are very much focused on His Chosen People. Yes, God has grafted us in, but He hasn't forgotten the seed of Abraham.
URGENT NEWS TO ACT ON
Finally, I encourage you to read the new letter from Lou Engle with a quote from James Dobson as well. We rejoiced in the surprises of Super Tuesday, but it's up to the church to pray and vote if we want to see the fullness of the second multiplying of the loaves and fishes. Many states still have primaries and caucuses, including Kansas, Louisiana, Virginia, Ohio, Washington, Texas, Nebraska, Hawaii, etc. Big victories in these states could put Huckabee back in contention. McCain is getting a lot of flack from conservative talk show hosts and it could sway voters to go to Huckabee. In addition, James Dobson has finally endorsed Huckabee as well. If we all pray hard now and support in every way possible - including finances, we may help make history.
Many have commented that it is great that now in America a black man and a woman can run for the highest office and have great support. I think it is equally amazing that a born-again former minister of the gospel can run for office. I will say that there has been much greater bigotry and bias against that idea than for a woman or an African American to run. I have heard and read many comments and there is incredible hatred out there for Huckabee from anti-Christian people. But even they can be blessed with the rest of us if a godly man rules the nation. Provers 14:34.
I must remind our leaders that I am expressing personal opinions and not endorsements from our ministry.
God bless you all,
Ben and Brenda, family and team
To The Nation (FROM LOU ENGLE)
I am speaking now for my own personal perspective and not from any ministry I lead.
This past several weeks I posted a video stating that I could never voted for John McCain because he had voted for the funding of embryonic stem cell research. I have made a vow that I would not be a participant in either the shedding of innocent blood or in the taking of any life at any stage. It is my conviction that fertilized embryos are living cells. As we know, today there are walking living human beings that were once embryonic stem cells that could have been killed for research purposes. I have received some excellent feedback both for and against concerning my video. One of the arguments against my stand is that science has now found a procedure that makes embryonic stem cell research a moot point. Therefore they say McCain will not have to face this issue according to this argument. Major Catholic leaders have come out and now endorse John McCain because of this supposedly closed issue. Because of this, I have withdrawn the video because I don’t believe that I could lay my convictions on others who will be faced with a major decision on whether their conscience could allow them to vote for McCain.
As for me, and not my ministry, I remain steadfast in my earlier conviction that I cannot vote for John McCain. I would like to include a part of James Dobson’s statement concerning McCain because there are obviously other issues involved. You may ask me, “Shouldn’t we vote for McCain because he is certainly better than Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama?” My answer is maybe you should, but I have been praying that God would drive the abortion issue like a wedge into this nation. Why should I take the wedge out by softening my stand? If the church came out in mass and united behind a true pro-life candidate, like Mike Huckabee, it would forever make a statement to the Republican Party that we are not yours we are God’s. Maybe it would be better to lose an election than to have another Missouri Compromise that keeps dumbing down the issue and will eventually bring us to divine judgment because we have ceased to become the conscience of the nation. What is better, a compromising Zedekiah, or a hostile Nebuchadnezzer? God was able to do more with the pagan king Nebuchadnezzer than he could with the compromising king of Judah. Maybe our thinking is all humanistic and we believe in politics more than the power of prayer.
Many of you have read my article on the five loaves and two fish candidate. You can read it again on my blog. I believe that the sudden surge of Huckabee and his confession that it was because of the prayers of the saints, could have been a sign and a test for the body of Christ to see whether or not we had eyes to see what we have been praying for, for so long. The brown bag container may have been just too much for us, and we stumbled over the simplicity of the voice. Here is a man, Mike Huckabee, that has stood for both a federal human life amendment and a federal marriage amendment arguing the brilliant case that to drive the issues to the states like John McCain would want to, is to make morality geographical. That is what slavery was! But no- we opted out and took the lie of elect-ability. There was no clear prophetic clarity in the body of Christ and so we settle for that which can neither give us a true plumb line of righteousness or a measuring line of justice and we perpetrate the ongoing moral confusion that threatens to drown this nation and bring about a complete collapse of character. (I am deeply concerned about the immigration issue and am praying that Huckabee would take much more of a compassionate stand for illegal immigrants. Still my stand of conscience is upon the foundations of life and marriage.)
But it is not over; the word was that if the church would pray the next president would come in a brown bag and his five loaves and two fish would be more than enough. Mitt Romney has dropped out of the race. If the church would rise up with one voice in prayer and in voting a Godly man whom I have had the privilege to personally spend time with now and who stands on the values of marriage and life upon which civilizations rise and fall could still be elected. And even yet if we pray God may do other things that no one could have expected. For He raises up kings and He brings them down. So I lay before you my convictions but I don’t lay them upon you. But here I stand I can do no other.
For America,
Lou Engle
Statement made by James Dobson on February 5, 2008:
"I'm deeply disappointed the Republican Party seems poised to select a nominee who did not support a constitutional amendment to protect the institution of marriage, who voted for embryonic stem cell research to kill nascent human beings, who opposed tax cuts that ended the marriage penalty, and who has little regard for freedom of speech, who organized the Gang of 14 to preserve filibusters, and has a legendary temper and often uses foul and obscene language… I cannot, and will not, vote for Sen. John McCain, as a matter of conscience.”
"But what a sad and melancholy decision this is for me and many other conservatives. Should Sen. McCain capture the nomination as many assume, I believe this general election will offer the worst choices for president in my lifetime. I certainly can't vote for Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama based on their virulently anti-family policy positions. If these are the nominees in November, I simply will not cast a ballot for president for the first time in my life. These decisions are my personal views and do not represent the organization with which I am affiliated. They do reflect my deeply held convictions about the institution of the family, about moral and spiritual beliefs, and about the welfare of our country."
James Dobson’s endorsement of Huckabee on February 7, 2008:
“The remaining candidate for whom I could vote is Governor Huckabee,” Dobson said. “His unwavering positions on the social issues, notably the institution of marriage, the importance of faith and the sanctity of human life, resonate deeply with me and with many others … Obviously, the governor faces an uphill struggle, given the delegates already committed to Senator McCain. Nevertheless, I believe he is our best remaining choice for president of the United States.”
My final statement:
I have heard such scathing comments against James Dobson from the body of Christ for his stand. Be careful you may be among those who stone the prophets. The great abolitionist heroes of the past were not known nor are now heralded by history for their political equivocation.

Greetings Friends,
Please don't forget to vote tomorrow if you live in one of the Super Tuesday States. Below is a letter sent by a pastor we know. I know it's controversial to talk about politics today, but I am very disappointed in Christian people who don't have strong enough convictions to vote Christian values. Please forgive me if this offends you. I believe it pleases God that we stir up people to vote for people who stand for righteousness and life.

Greetings Saints,
STERLING, ILLINOIS
It's been an eventful week or so since our last letter. On the weekend we had two meetings in Sterling, Illinois. With a small team we ministered to scores of individuals and saw many tears as God did some deep healing in the hearts of the people. The anointing was strong on Brenda on Saturday night. She shared a moving word on God's ownership of our lives. On Sunday morning I was led to share about God's positioning people ready to take the mountains of business, politics, entertainment, news media, education, etc.
God is really stirring up people to move forward and position themselves to conquer the mountains the enemy has taken from us. They are going to Hollywood, Business College, etc., preparing to impact their field for the Kingdom of Heaven.
BACK TO LAKE ZURICH
As many know, we have been spending time in our motor home again, We were parked in front of our house while Tim, Nathan, our daughter, Barbie and four grandsons stayed in our house. We kept it winterized and used the plumbing in the house. It was good to have a quiet place to go and sleep. Our son-in-law, Caleb, was in Wyoming working on a new refinery as a pipe-fitter. He wasn't sure if he would move to another job or come back home.
A few days ago, the refrigerator stopped working and the next night we ran out of propane in the middle of the night. There was too much snow on the awnings and in the driveway to move the motor home and get more propane. At the same time we found out that Caleb was heading back, since the job was finished. Since they weren't going to leave immediately, like we thought they might. we felt it was time to move back to Lake Zurich where we were house-sitting before Christmas. It was time to leave the motor home and move into a house again with the very cold weather.
So we are back in a warm house with all the luxuries. Tim has started working at Olive Gardens in Rockford and Nathan may start working at Starbucks there, so they are staying in South Beloit for now. Brenda and I are loving a little quiet time, but we'll be busy again this weekend and next weekend, and going to Israel next month after Brenda does the ladies retreat in Genoa.
OHM CONFERENCE PLANS
We have a confirmed location and a theme for our April 23 - 26 conference. It will be held at the Lake Shore Tabernacle in Kenosha, Wisconsin, just north of Chicago. The theme is SIGNS OF HIS GLORY, WONDER-FULL JOY. Our speakers focus on glory and joy. They are Rolland Baker, Georgian Banov, Jeff Jansen and David Herzog, along with Brenda and me and our kids and team. We may have another family event here.
NEXT WEEKEND CONFERENCE
Next weekend we minister along with other speakers at a conference in Mount Prospect. Please check the following website:

1. Our friend Chantel just informed us that her friend just had a baby named Nickolas. Unfortunatel, he has a heart defect and has been flown to Children's Memorial Hospital in the Chicago area. He may go through surgery and they are asking for everyone to pray for him.
2. A young lady named Candice Smith in Calgary, Canada, has been fighting cancer and now has been given a very short time to live by the doctors. We pray that The Great Physician will give her a better diagnosis. Please ask God to touch her quickly. She has a very large and fast growing tumor.
Also remember us as we go to Sterling tomorrow and Sunday for two services.
And don't forget to pray for God's will in the primaries. Let's believe God for miracles.
God bless you all,
Ben, Brenda family and team

Dear Friends,
To all those who donated to Open Heart Ministries in 2007, we have a question to ask you:
Would you be willing to receive your 2007 donation receipt by email? If so could you fire back a letter to Tracy Dorn at teej1265@yahoo.com? If you would, please send us your main contact information such as your regular mailing address, phone number etc. along with your email address.
This would be a big blessing to us in saving labor and expense. It should also get you your receipt a little sooner. Our team is working hard to get these done on time and I appreciate it so much. I used to do it all myself and it took a lot of time.
Please pray for the USA primaries and caucuses in the next few weeks. We are praying for a real man of God in the White House. What happens in the next few days and weeks could make a huge difference. Especially pray for the South Carolina primaries this Saturday.
God bless you all!

Greetings Friends,
Tonight we may see the beginning of a political revolution in America. I believe that millions of Christians are praying for the election of a strong Christian leader. If you haven't made up your mind yet, consider what many leaders are suggesting. Check out Mike Huckabee. He had what one commentator described as a spectacular performance on Jay Leno last night. If you missed it, you can watch it on the following website: http://communities.canada.com/shareit/blogs/ Go to the second paragraph and click on "Huckabee channels Bill Clinton on Leno" The interview is in two parts. I think you'll really enjoy it.
God bless you all and have a wonderful New Year. We start meetings in Farmington tomorrow night. Please pray for us and pray for the Iowa Caucuses.

Greetings Saints,
If you read the prayer request I just sent from Lou Engle, you might watch him on God TV tomorrow at TheCall Kansas City. If you don't have DirecTV, you might find it on www.god.tv.com.
If you'd like to hear what Mike Huckabee has to say for himself, he was interrogated on Meet the Press today. You can watch the whole interview on the following link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032608/ and click the "watch the whole interview " (something like that) button.
I was impressed. Newspeople have tried to make him look stupid. I think he's brilliant!
Blessings to all of you and have a wonderful Brand New Beginnings New Year.

ITINERARY NEWS
Our itinerary on our website is temporarily not working. Here is the latest info I can come up with:
We had planned a month-long road trip all the way to California and Oregon in January, but have changed that plan.
On January 2 we fly to Farmington, New Mexico, where we'll be until January 9. We'll be ministering in a church there and possibly also in several home meetings.
Our schedule is now free between the 10th and 29th of January. If anyone is interested in hosting a meeting within reach of Chicago, please communicate with us asap.
On January 31-February 2, we begin a conference hosted by Damon Stuart Worship Ministries at Northwest Assembly of God Church in Mount Prospect, Illinois. You can get the details at www.damonstuart.com.
February 8th and 9th Brenda will be speaking at the Genoa Cross Winds Community Church ladies retreat. Right after that we would like to go to Israel, but don't have confirmation of that yet. If we go, the last week of February would still be open. If not, most of the month will be still free.
March is open right now.
April 3-6 we will be at a family reunion with my siblings in Surrey, B.C. At the end of April we will host our big conference in the Chicago area. We should know our location in the next few weeks. Speakers will include Rolland Baker, Georgian Banov, Jeff Jansen and David Herzog.
May 23 and 24 we will be assisting in bringing Kim Clement to Chicago for two days. Location is still to be confirmed.

Greetings Friends,
We returned safely to Chicago a few days ago and immediately began moving out of our friends' house where we've been house-sitting in Lake Zurich. They are home with their family for Christmas and New Years and we wanted to be with our family for Christmas anyway. We moved back to our motorhome, parked at our house in South Beloit, where our daughter, Barbie, and family are staying at present. This time we are not using the plumbing in the motorhome and have had it winterized to avoid last year's frozen pipe scenario. We go inside the house as often as we want to be with Barbie and the grandkids and to use the facilities.
Our son-in-law, Caleb, is still working in Wyoming until he can transfer to Los Angeles, where they will be a part of Shawn Bolz's and Paula Benne's ministry. It looks like Barbie and the kids will join him in Wyoming after Christmas. We expect to return to Lake Zurich for a few months regardless.
FINAL TAIWAN REPORT
My last letter was written just before finishing up our ministry in Taiwan. The last day had some important ministry that hopefully will have an impact for eternity. It's hard to remember it all now, but we ended up in a government building in downtown Taipei. There we were introduced by one of the gals we had met earlier to a dozen or so men and women who had authority to regulate the financial activities of the banking system, etc. We were told they were the equivalent to our FDIC in the USA.
As we ministered to them they were very touched and thankful. We ended up in the private office of a high up director of these people. Later we discovered that Rebecca, the gal who brought us there, was actually over all of them, but was a very humble lady. She was still a professor in the nation's leading university and we had ministered to a dozen of her doctoral program students earlier. Needless to say, we felt very honored with the opportunity to impact so many leaders with a message of their Kingdom destiny.
Another leader we ministered to was close to the President of the country and she had been the head of the Security Police. She was now one of a group of strong intercessors praying for the country. I believe Taiwan will have its first major revival very soon. Now only 1% of the people are Christian.
Another amazing event I failed to mention earlier happened on Sunday. Brenda prophesied to an American living in Taiwan. When she asked his name, his last name was Pinkerton, which was her maiden name. When they compared notes, they realized they had the same grandfather, who had left Brenda's dad's mom and family and married another woman. So they had the same grandfather but different grandmothers. They were amazed that they would meet in Taiwan.
VANCE MURPHY IN REVIVAL MEETINGS IN ELGIN
Vance will be ministering at least until Wednesday night at the New Covenant Church in Elgin at 7 pm each evening.
865 Parkway Av
Elgin, IL 60120
Phone: 847-741-5683
The meetings have been powerful with healings and lives changed. I expect to be there Monday night.
That's all for now. Please keep us in your prayers. We are in some major transition times again. God is taking us to a new place which requires greater wisdom and faith.
Much love in Jesus,
Ben, Brenda, family and team

OPEN HEART MINISTRIES - www.ohmint.org
Greetings Friends,
WELCOME TO NEW ASIAN FRIENDS.
We have met so many wonderful people on this trip. A few of them who speak English are now on our mailing list as well. We welcome you all. If you wish to unsubscribe, please feel free to do so.
KWANG JU, KOREA
We had a wonderful send-off from Korea with our final two days in Kwang Ju. In our last letter I told of the lady who travelled several hours with a sprained or broken ankle to tell us how our ministry had impacted her six years ago. She had evangelized 1500 people since then as a result of the word we had given her and she had all the names and phone numbers in her little notebook. The day after my letter she shared her testimony with the conference. In addition to the evangelism testimony, she shared that her ankle had been healed that day when she had prayer in the meetings.
Our time in Korea had been incredibly fruitful and the people there are incredibly amazing. Their hospitality is tough to beat and they are so hungry they eat up every word before it gets out of your mouth. We were invited back to each church and two other groups as well. We will probably return to Korea many times. Two of our books are now published in Korean and others may follow as God leads.
TAIWAN
We arrived in Taipai, Taiwan on Friday. It was our first day in almost two weeks without a meeting. The next day made up for it. We had our first meeting at 7 A M and then two very special appointments throughout the day with key leaders in Taiwan.
Saturday evening we had back to back meetings with two diverse groups. The first was the Pearl Church, composed of mostly college age and young adult folk, who all spoke English. Many were being introduced to the prophetic for the first time, but they opened up to the love of Jesus. God gave me a strong word of introduction to prophetic ministry.
The second meeting that evening was in a large home with mostly older folk who were also very hungry to hear what we had to teach. Many only understood Mandarin, so we used interpreters for preaching and prophesying. It was also a very fruitful night and we ministered to about thirty-five people.
The Taiwanese Chinese are also wonderful people and have captured our hearts as well. The climate is more sub-tropical here and although it's their winter, I never need a jacket. The culture and food is quite different than Korea but we are enjoying it very much.
On Sunday we took the bullet train (about 235 kph - 155 mph) south to another city I'm not sure how to spell. Anyway, it was a church of about 100 - larger than average in Taiwan, where only 1% of the people are believers in Jesus. It was mostly a seeker sensitive church (Willow Creek Association) but they were open to what we were given to do there. God again anointed our speaking and we prophesied for another three hours or so after the meeting. It made a full day with two 90 minute train rides and several hours of ministry.
Today (Monday) we ministered to small groups at our hotel for all of the afternoon. We ministered to about ten or twelve doctoral students in the leading university of Taiwan. They have a powerful destiny and had some wonderful encounters with God. Tonight Brenda is with the others after a wonderful Taiwanese meal, walking through the old fashioned market place, while I asked to come to the hotel room to write this newsletter and answer emails, etc.
We want to thank all of you who pray for us. Please keep praying. Tomorrow is our last full day in Asia. We fly on Wednesday to Tokyo and then direct to Chicago. We will leave the warm summery weather and land in snow-clad Chicago to below freezing temperatures. We are tired but very thankful for this trip and all that God has done.
Thanks to all who support us with finances. Our missions projects, conferences, and internship programs all continue and grow because of generous Christians. We can't thank you enough.
A relative pointed out to me this weekend that there was no link to our website on our newsletters and people who want more information about our ministry may not know how to get there. In the future we will try to always put the website address at the top of the newsletters.
God bless you all,
Ben, Brenda, family and team

Greetings Saints,
It's very hard to convey how much we appreciate your prayers and how good God has been to us here in Korea. We are now in Kwang Ju, South Korea. We had two meetings today after a three or four hour bus ride this morning. Brenda was asked to minister this Wednesday evening in the large church in Mokpo where we began our ministry here about ten days ago. She is now on her way home. God has greatly used her, as well as our friend and spiritual daughter, Ingela Larsson. We have been able to share some of the ministry responsibilities to lighten our load.
AMAZING TESTIMONY
After a wonderful service this evening a lady came up to speak to me through an interpreter. She was a pastor's wife and the sister-in-law of the pastor who had hosted us six years ago in Pusan, South Korea. We weren't going to Pusan this trip as the schedule was full, but this lady drove several hours to Kwang Ju when she heard we were speaking here.
She told us that we had prophesied over her six years ago and that everything we told her had come to pass. And as a result of the encouragement from the prophetic word, she had become a real evangelist and had led 1,500 souls to Christ. This is an amazing blessing to us. She also said they had sacrificed much of their finances for evangelism until they had little left, but God has been blessing and replacing what they had spent. Praise God!
HAPPY CHURCH HIGHLIGHTS
Since my last letter we had amazing meetings with awesome worship in this crowded sanctuary. The last couple of days the crowd grew to about 120 people or more. It was packed and had very low ceilings. When we ministered we were wet with perspiration. The anointing was very strong and God greatly blessed and visited the people. The worship team was one of the best ever for a small church. The young worship leader sounded a lot like Scott Brenner. Everyone showed amazing gratitude and we were greatly blessed and very well taken care of. We certainly haven't lost any weight. In every church people are so hungry for a personal word and we spent much time after meetings doing personal ministry.
SEOUL CITY CHURCH
We went from the Happy Church to the Seoul City Church, which has a large theatre-style facility. The pastor has hosted many famous American preachers in the past. We met so many awesome saints there and enjoyed the children and youth as they took part in the services. As always, we were treated to their finest restaurants every day and usually one of the deacons would pay for all the guests. I was always asked to pray a blessing on them when we blessed the food.
KOREAN HONOR STRUCTURE
Koreans have a strong "honor" structure that is unknown in the western world. Pastors are highly honored, and visitors are held in extreme honor. We tried to impart the awareness that God wants to use us all and has given each of us gifts, often using the least among us to do the greatest work. Tonight in Kwang Ju I spoke on how John the Baptist was the greatest next to Jesus because he was such a servant and allowed himself to decrease so Jesus could increase. God gave me the anointing to get the message across and I know they will apply it in their own lives.
NEW OUTFITS
One lady is a professional seamstress and made Brenda and I authentic and beautiful Korean traditional garments. They measured us when we arrived and had them completed in about eight days.
MY BOOKS IN KOREAN LANGUAGE
Thanks to Micah Park, our awesome interpreter and book translator, we now have two books in the Korean language and they sold like hotcakes in the conferences. The first church sold out 120 copies and we hope to get more to them.
NEW PREACHING AND REVIVAL ANOINTING
It's hard for me to explain how God has taken our ministry to a new level. Every message was orchestrated by God as we preached. I rarely knew much about what I would speak on until the worship time. Then I would get a couple of scriptures and thoughts. When I got up to speak a strong anointing would come and I would go in a whole new direction and share truth and revelation that had never come to me before. It is like I'm observing what God is putting together as I preach. With almost no bunny trails, the pieces of the puzzle would fit together in an amazing way. It happened again tonight and I am really blown away. Of course, when Brenda speaks God always touches hearts. She just gets better and better.
In addition, there has been a new boldness and authority when I minister at the altar to the hungry people who always want another touch from Heaven. I have been getting words of knowledge for healing as well and dozens are declaring that they have been healed in the meetings as we have them pray for one another without me touching them. Revival fire is being rekindled in me and I know that this is what I was born for. I really believe God sent us to Korea to release an apostolic proclamation to the nation of South Korea which relates to revival and the evangelism of North Korea when the doors finally swing wide open to the gospel.
All the churches have asked us to come back and now we have another invitation from Pusan as well. We have been to Kwang Ju twice before and we dearly love these people.
This is too long and it's well past midnight, so I'll sign off. Brenda should be home before too long. I'm anxious to hear about her service and tell her about the testimony I shared already with you.
God bless you all and thanks again for your prayers. We love you!!!

Dear Friends,
I'm writing from our motel room in Seoul on a tempermental computer, so this will be short. Yes, we are in a church called Happy Church, and it really is a happy church. We are having an awesome time with these beautiful people, about 80 strong.
But first, I have to tell you about our last night in Mokpo. I have seldom had a stronger anointing and their was a continuous flow of revelation and inspiration as I cried out for God to put His words in my mouth as He promised. There were about 700 people there according to Micah Park, our interpreter. They always wanted everyone to be touched for impartation, but we did things a little different that night.
After preaching, I called up all the children and youth - about 100. The ministry team prayed over them all. Then I asked them to stay while I invited all the people with back problems to come forward. There were many aged people and hundreds with back pain. We had all the children pray for them for about 15 minutes or so. I think dozens raised their hands that they had been touched and healed. After that we did a giant fire tunnel. I asked their leaders to join us and there were about forty of them or more. The lines were huge but we kept them moving. What a joyful time. Many young people were touched that night in powerful ways. After everyone else was gone a dozen youth were still clustered praying together in the presence of the Lord.
This was a somewhat traditional church, but they were hungry and open to new things. When we left the pastor gave us huge compliments and thanked us and invited us back. He said in 30 years they had never had a greater blessing in special meetings.
Here in the Happy Church we are enjoying beautiful anointed worship with most people dancing before the Lord and desiring to be touched by the Holy Spirit with manifestations of power. They love to laugh at anything at all funny and have blessed us richly already. We have four more services here before moving on Sunday to the Seoul City Church - another larger group.
Please continue to pray for us. God is answering your prayers.
Much love to all,
Ben and Brenda and team
