Greetings Saints,

WELCOME NEW FRIENDS

First of all, welcome to our new friends on our mailing list, especially those in Indiana and Ohio. We just returned from Pickerington, Ohio, where Brenda, Val and Lyn ministered alongside the ladies of Trinity Family Life Center. We were treated with amazing hospitality and know that many lives were changed by the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

God has had us ministering in three neighboring states recently, all of which have been called swing states. We have asked God to help us make a difference as we prayed and shared the burden of the Lord for America in these last days before America chooses its destiny.

THE CHURCH IS WAKING UP!

I have received an overwhelming amount of information about the candidates in this coming election. That is good news, in that people are taking seriously the need to to pray like never before and do everything God asks them to do to make a difference. Basically, they are responding to the prophetic word that says God is listening to see if our cry for MERCY will be greater than our cry for CHANGE.

IT'S OPPORTUNITY TIME

We have seven precious days to make a difference. Passing on information, as many are doing, can be helpful to motivate us to pray and share the facts. Sometimes it's hard to verify the facts. A friend just told us that someone at her workplace still thinks that Sarah Palin's daughter was the real mother of their new baby, Trig.

What we can do that will make the biggest difference is to pray. We had someone suggest that we walk our neighborhoods and pray. Brenda and I encourage everyone to do that. Just pray that the family in the home you pass by would vote for life and not death.

Most swing states are close enough to swing towards life. Prophetic words and dreams reveal that God has something of a surprise for the last few days of the race. Your prayers will help this come to pass.

I want to pass on a letter from Dutch Sheets, whom I respect and love deeply in the Lord. I'll also pass on some websites for you to check out.

Think of yourself as an Esther, called for such a time as this to make a difference. May God give you wisdom and boldness to be a part of God's army. I cannot overstate how important this election is. Believe me, we cannot afford to elect a "death" candidate.

Dutch Sheets | PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

Due to IRS rules, this letter is from me personally and is not from any of the ministries I am associated with. (Also because of IRS rules, I cannot send it to my ministry database and therefore need your help in getting it out.) Do with it as you see fit, but my desire is that you forward it to as many praying friends as possible.

Dear Praying Friend,

In 2000, I wrote the 2nd most important letter of my life-a call to prayer for the elections of that year. I'm now writing what may be my most important letter. I knew the importance of those elections in 2000 was beyond any in my life up to that point and that the spiritual warfare surrounding them would be unlike anything any of us had ever seen. That letter was read by millions of people and I believe millions of them responded by praying. I also believe the prayers turned the tide.

You may question whether President Bush was the right choice; obviously, he has made some blunders in his tenure as president. But two of his decisions alone left no doubt he was God's choice: Roberts and Alito. These two Supreme Court Justices have proven critical in the process of breaking the hold of humanism, death and anti-God agendas that have ruled the Court for 50 years. I assure you that more devastation-the shedding of innocent blood, immorality, decay of the family and an erosion of our godly heritage-has flowed into our nation through that institution than any other door in America . Many times more. The poison allowed into America through their decisions is beyond any of our abilities to articulate.

The reality in America is that you don't need to control Congress or the White House to rule the nation. You only need 5 people - 5 out of 9 on the Supreme Court. And for decades those who disagree with just about everything you and I stand for have been in control!

In Bush's two terms, the process of turning this around began with the appointments of Roberts and Alito. Now, we win some cases 5-4 and lose some 4-5. (We barely outlawed partial birth abortion. The vote of one judge saved thousands of babies from this horror.) We need one more conservative Justice for a consistent majority, then more to build a strong majority.

In Obama's own words, "the next president will appoint at least one, perhaps two or more Supreme Court Justices." He's right. Almost certainly two or more older, liberal Justices are waiting until after the elections to retire, in hopes of Obama winning and appointing more liberals to replace them. And he certainly would. He voted against the confirmation of Roberts and Alito. So did Biden. And Biden led the fight against Justice Thomas several years back, another of the 4 solid conservatives. Make no mistake about it, the two of them do have a litmus test for Supreme Court Justices, and a major part of that test is Roe vs. Wade. McCain and Palin, on the other hand, both have very strong pro-life positions. This alone makes the choice for President simple. To vote for the 2nd and 3rd most liberal senators (Obama and Biden), both of whom are firmly and blatantly pro-abortion, would be unconscionable. Obama has actually said that if he wins, he would like his first action as president to be the signing of the Freedom of Choice Act, which would eliminate every other law against any aspect of abortion (partial birth abortion, parental notification, etc., etc.). And with a democratic majority in the House and Senate, pretty much any legislation he and Biden want to pass will be a slam-dunk. There are many other unrighteous positions they hold but this position alone makes the choice easy. If they win this election, it will set America back decades in the cause of life and the restoration we seek.

Just as many of you do, I too, want to see a first black President, but not Senator Obama. To allow that noble and godly desire, the economy or one's position on the war to trump this issue of life and death for the innocent unborn is simply wrong. The scriptures teach that if we choose first to exalt righteousness and turn from evil, God promises to heal our land (see Proverbs 14:34; 2 Chronicles 7: 14). It is righteousness that exalts a nation, not wealth, prosperity or armies. If we will finish the process of removing the curses of death and anti-God laws off of America by electing a president that will continue to shift the Court, God will grace us with breakthrough in other areas such as the economy, the war against terrorism, etc. My faith is not in a person, and certainly not a political party, for the healing of America , but I know God's word and His ways well enough to know that our decisions do move Him to action or inaction.
Now to the heart of my reason for writing this letter (I realize I am "preaching to the choir"-most of you who know or listen to me are conservative enough to vote for McCain and Palin.) I have not written any appeals for prayer concerning this election because:

1) others have, and

2)I believe our movement has matured to the point that the prayer base of the Church is already praying.

But I now feel the need to raise my voice. I am appealing to you to pray for these elections the next two weeks like you've never prayed for any in the past. Faithfully. Passionately. Boldly. Ask God for His mercy and grace. We deserve His judgment for removing His influence and authority from our government, schools, homes and businesses; for the killing of 50 million babies; for leading the world in the consumption and exporting of pornography; for passing laws to reject His; etc. But mercy triumphs over judgment and in His wrath He remembers mercy. In 2000 we actually lost the popular vote and won the election-talk about grace! Please pray for this grace to be released again. But I am also asking you for something more than normal prayer. For those of you who understand spiritual warfare, I am asking you to also include this aspect of prayer. There is no doubt that we have entered a Daniel 10 moment in time: "Then he said to me, 'Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, I have come in response to your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia'" (Daniel 10: 12-13 NAS). The spiritual warfare in this election is incredibly fierce, and just as it was in Daniel's day, is all about the restoration of a nation. And also like Daniel, we must keep praying until we win the battle in the heavens.

In August of this year I predicted that September would mark a shift in momentum for these elections. This happened with the appointment of Sarah Palin as the Vice Presidential nominee (who is a true Esther in our generation), but when the economy began its meltdown and the media ramped up their unprecedented attacks on Palin, that momentum wasn't sustained. But we can see it turn again if we approach this battle as the spiritual warfare it truly is and bind the evil forces involved (see Matthew 16:18-19). The reality is that this election can be the breakthrough we need to fully shift the Court (and ultimately our nation) or it will be an immeasurable setback that could take many years to reverse-if ever.

Please understand what I am saying: if we engage in this battle and do what I am asking-in mass-we will win; if we do not, we will lose. I, for one, don't intend to allow the latter. I am in Washington , D.C. now (October 20-22) with Lou Engle and a team of prayer leaders from around the nation to war for this election. Join us! Lose some sleep, miss some meals-pray! Pray like never before for these elections. And as you do, involve yourself not only in petitioning prayer but also in spiritual warfare. Use your God- given authority over the plans and strategies of satan's kingdom. Bind all witchcraft that is working to control the outcome, including ocultic powers that are suppressing truth. Release Christ's Kingdom rule in every way the Holy Spirit leads you.

Don't be deceived and don't lose hope (if you have to, turn off the TV.) It is not too late to turn these elections. God is plenty powerful enough to do so. The real question is will we rise to the level of prayer and spiritual warfare necessary to release that power. And remember, we don't need a majority of Christians who are willing and able to do this-only a praying remnant. We can do it!

Here are some practical suggestions to consider:

1) Fast (a meal a day; a day a week; a Daniel fast; 3 days; 10 days; TV; etc.) and spend the time praying.

2) Agree in prayer with someone everyday for God's will to be done.

3) Form/participate in prayer groups regularly. Churches could pray every day.

4) Take time in every gathering to pray. (Take 15 minutes in every service to pray for the elections. Turn an entire service to harp and bowl style intercession-worship and prayer combined.)

5) Join 2 or more on a conference call and pray for 15, 20, or 30 minutes.

6) Pray on the way to work (and on the way home).

7) Pray before you go to sleep.

8) Pray before church services.

9) Ask God to give you His strategy-He will!

Dear Friends,

With our busy schedule this weekend, this may be our final letter before the November 4 elections, but I won't promise anything! I just might find a few minutes somewhere.

The more information we get from reliable sources, the more we know how critical this election is. But I do believe the people of God have risen up and cried out to God for mercy. I believe the scales are tipping in favor of LIFE and righteousness. But we must not be careless. There is far too much at stake.

Brenda and I have taken two walks across the border into Wisconsin, which could still swing towards life. We walked through a neighborhood and prayed that eyes would be opened and that they would vote for life.

BUSIEST WEEKEND IN RECENT MEMORY COMING RIGHT UP

Tomorrow night - Friday - As Brenda and Val begin a Lutheran Ladies retreat in Oregon, Illinois, I will be taking Iris missionary from Sudan, Michele Perry, to Kenosha, Wisconsin, for a meeting at Lake Shore Tabernacle at 7 pm.

On Saturday morning we will take in some of the HUB conference at the O'Hare Wyndham Hotel, and then I take Michele to the Ladies Retreat with Brenda.

On Sunday morning and afternoon, we'll be back at HUB.

Sunday evening at 6 PM, we'll be at Northwest Assembly of God in Mount Prospect with Damon Stuart.

On Monday evening, we'll be hosting Michele at the Eagles Nest on Chicago Street in downtown Elgin at 7 pm.

Meanwhile the Elgin Revival Outpouring continues on Friday night at 7 pm and Saturday at 6 pm, at that same location - The Eagles Nest on Chicago Street.

PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL OF THESE MEETINGS AND FOR THE ELECTIONS - THEN VOTE FOR YOUR PRO-LIFE CANDIDATES.

NEXT FRIDAY, BRENDA AND I HEAD FOR SOUTH KOREA FOR FIFTEEN DAYS. PLEASE PRAY THAT WE CAN HAVE EVERYTHING IN ORDER BEFORE WE LEAVE. WE HAVE SOME REAL CHALLENGES, BUT THEY ARE NOTHING WITH GOD.

Greetings Saints and Intercessors,

NAIL SCARRED MINISTRIES, ELKART, INDIANA

We finished our time in Elkhart on Wednesday evening. The group had almost doubled in size from the previous night. We released some words regarding the state of our nation and the need to pray and decree God’s will. We shared what the prophets have been saying as well about the coming elections. We had some precious time with Pastor Joe and Mrs. Bauer as well, and they have asked us to be an apostolic covering to them.

CHILLICOTHE, OHIO

Last night Brenda and I had the wonderful privilege of being in the original capital of the state of Ohio, where Dutch Sheets was born. Chillicothe is a mouthful to pronounce, but I finally got it. Anyway, Dutch Sheets and his brother Tim were both there along with many other Ohio leaders to make decrees and declaration for God to overrule the plans of the enemy for the upcoming elections. Since many prophetic words have come forth regarding Ohio, there was a strong sense of strategic destiny for this solemn assembly.

The night was a powerful time of spiritual warfare. Dutch was on fire with a holy zeal for God and justice, and against the forces of darkness that have been at work in this election campaign. I know we connected with Heaven. The spiritual energy in the auditorium was amazing.

PICKERINGTON, OHIO

We are now parked by Trinity Family Life Center in Pickerington, Ohio. Brenda, along with Val Coltman from West Dundee, Illinois, and Lyn Jackson from Indianapolis, Indiana, will be ministering here for the next twenty-four hours or so. I get to work on my computer and watch my book table.

EXTREMELY BUSY WEEKEND COMING UP

Everyone in the Chicago region has several options for a spiritual feast just a few days before the elections.

1. HUB has several wonderful speakers, including Heidi Baker and Paul Keith Davis. You can check their schedule on the web.

2. The Elgin Revival has services on Friday evening at 7 pm and Saturday evening at 6 pm.

3. Michele Perry, Iris missionary from Sudan will be at Lakeshore Tabernacle in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Friday night at 7 pm. She’ll be with Brenda at the Lutheran ladies’ retreat on Saturday, and at Northwest Assembly of God on Sunday night in Mount Prospect, Illinois. On Monday evening we will host her at the Eagles Nest, in Elgin, at 7 pm.

VOTE ON NOVEMBER 4, IF NOT SOONER

It is a life and death time for America. If we choose the LIFE candidates, America will prosper again. If we choose death, many aspects of American life will be going down the toilet. But we believe God has been hearing the cries for mercy and grace in spite of our decadence as a nation. We believe the enemy will not prevail. May God have mercy on us once again.

A surprise cooking in the Governors Mansion 10-20-08

I was being chased through a city, though I am not aware that I did anything wrong and I came up to a mansion, and it happened to be a Governors Mansion. The chef was asking for help to prepare a surprise meal. I rolled up my sleeves and began to help preparing the meal. The kitchen was in the basement of the mansion. (something foundational)

Next I was looking for work. I was in a large city and there was no work to be found there. The thought came that I needed to look in smaller cities and towns for work. Next I saw a map. I was looking at the map, moving my finger away from the larger cities, moving my finger to smaller cities and towns. As my finger passed over the cities, I heard “there is work there”, next city “there is work there”, They were all towns that I had never heard of (sorry, I could see some of the names but can’t remember them).

Next I was watching a track meet, and at the same time I saw the New York Stock exchange. Every time a race finished, the Board changed positive or extremely negative depending on who won, and you could feel the tension in the anticipation for the final race. I knew there was going to be a big reaction depending on who won.

I kept thinking, Ohio, Indiana and Minnesota (could have been Missouri).

My interpretation:

It seems like the enemy is chasing us away from our Christian heritage as a nation, and society is attacking Christians like never before, especially if they run for political office. But the Chef (Lord Jesus) is cooking up a surprise at the Governor's Mansion. (There's only one governor in the race.) Intercessors are helping prepare this surprise feast. We need to roll up our sleeves and pray like never before with faith for the victory.

Smaller cities and towns are where we will be most effective in our intercession. There is work to do to turn hearts and minds toward God's will.

The polls are being watched by the market, but they are waiting for the elections to see which way to go with their investments. There will be a strong reaction one way or another, depending on who wins.

Pray especially for Ohio, Indiana, Minnesota and Missouri.

OPPORTUNITY IS KNOCKING

Greetings Friends,

Brenda just suggested to me that I send out an alert about an opportunity for any church or group that loves IRIS Ministries in the Chicago or south Wisconsin region.

Michele Perry, a delightful IRIS Missionary to Sudan, is going to be with us from October 31 - November 3. She is a lot like Heidi Baker, and has a very unique testimony and wonderful ministry. She spoke at our conference and was loved by all. She was born with only one leg and hip and had multiple surgeries as a child. She began public speaking at nine or ten. She was in India for two years before going to the Sudan. She has taken in around one hundred orphans and has several churches under her covering to take care of.

When she scheduled her time with us, we didn't realize what was going on here. Brenda is booked at a ladies' retreat and HUB is doing a conference. In addition, the Elgin Revival Outpouring continues at the Eagles Nest that weekend.

What we had planned for Michele all fell through, so we have a wonderful opportunity for any church or group that would care to bring in a dear and precious sold-out lover of Jesus. Please let me know if you are interested at this late date. She would be available any time beginning Friday night, and all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

ROAD TRIP EAST

Greetings Saints,

Just a quick prayer request for our journey to Elkhart, Indiana and Pickerington, Ohio. We have two nights of revival meetings with Joe Bauer in Elkhart, starting tonight and then Brenda speaks at a ladies retreat on Friday and Saturday in Pickerington. Please pray that God does more than anyone expects. We are looking for an outpouring of His presence and power.

We are taking the motor home on the road for the first time in a year. Pray for safe travel and protection. Also pray for our young adult boys as we leave them at home again. They both work at Starbucks these days and are loved by their managers.

Also, please don't forget to pray for the elections and ask God to help you make an impact on other voters as well. Especially pray for the church to rise up. Bob Jones says it's definitely up to the church to swing the elections in the right direction and tip the scales to mercy rather than judgment. The race is tightening again and we look for victory on November 4.

Greetings Friends,

We are blessed to participate in a week-long revival going on in Elkhart, Indiana at the Nail Scarred Ministries. This young church is going hard after God in worship. They are prophetic and hungry, although still a small group. God gave me the story of David in the wilderness with a few sheep. Because he was faithful and became an intimate worshiper, he qualified for the throne when his popular big brothers did not. God often chooses people out of obscurity to do his best work if they are like David and love intimacy with God. We had a great time of ministry and many were powerfully touched by the Spirit of God.

We finish here tonight and head on to Ohio for the weekend. Don't forget to pray for us. We want to make an impact on a state that has a great destiny to fulfill in this coming election. Look for God to do some miracles again to put His team in the White House.

ELGIN OUTPOURING

The new schedule for the Elgin revival meetings is Friday night at 7 pm and Saturday at 6 pm. Pastor Bob Whitt will continue to lead these meetings with ourselves and others coming when we can to team up with the Elgin leadership. May God pour out His Spirit in power and glory for all those who can attend!

GREETINGS SAINTS,

We're in Michigan, near Detroit, after participating in a very beautiful wedding. I felt the urge to write another letter while waiting for Timothy to get back from visiting a friend he hasn't seen for awhile.

TIME IS SHORT

We have a very short time to make a difference in the coming elections. The results of this election are extremely critical to our future and the survival of America as we know it or want it to be. Once we go in a certain direction it takes decades to change. Think of Prayer and Bible reading in schools. Think of abortion. Think of income tax that was promised would never be more than 1%.

WE ARE AT A MAJOR CROSS-ROADS

We can slip into the godless culture of Europe or we can have the greatest revival the world has ever seen. So much depends on how we vote.

Tonight, Sunday, October 12, Fox News will show a one hour study on Barack Obama on Hannity's America. Obama has a very secretive past. You can't find out hardly anything about his many years at Colombia and Harvard Universities. But his past associations are almost all radical revolutionary leaders and details are just coming out. People think it's OK, but don't believe it.

WE CAN CHANGE THE COURSE OF HISTORY IF WE PRAY FOR MERCY

When God hears more prayers for mercy than for change, He will tip the scales for us, according to some highly respected prophetic men and women of God.

“Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon. The sky was blue. The birds were singing. And the bastards were finally going to get what was coming to them.” If it was this easy to get witnesses to perceive, recall and relate, I might have stayed in the trial lawyer biz. Dohrn, too, had a keen sense of detail, gushing over the barbaric Manson Family murders: “Dig it! First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them. They even shoved a fork into the victim’s stomach! Wild!”

But the larger point is this: We are too hung up on the word terrorist. Yes, Ayers was a terrorist, but he's not anymore in the sense that he hasn't bombed anything in a long time. He is, however, and he has always been, a radical leftist revolutionary. Don't take my word for it — he proudly says it himself, as I detailed in this post yesterday.

That was the ideology that drove him to bomb American targets, it is the ideology he has taken to America's classrooms (which are just a different front in the same war he has been raging against our society for 40 years), it is the ideology he has never hidden from anyone, and — here's the point — it is the ideology that drove his partnership with Barack Obama. That's the reason Obama is minimizing the relationship. Obama and Ayers worked well together — happily funding the same communists, socialists, America haters, Israel haters, etc. — because they were ideologically aligned. Obama is smoother and more marketable than Ayers, but ideologically they're coming from the same place: American society needs drastic change. And if you want to know the change Obama and Ayers have in mind, look at what they did at the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. Look at Obama's Chicago years, which explains why Ayers and Dohrn would host the launching of his political career from their living room. That's where Obama doesn't want to go — because if voters look there, he's toast.

Revival Update and Important New Political Information

We don't want to overload you with information, but we do have two important items to share.

1. The Elgin Revival meetings will take Friday and Saturday off this week. Thursday, October 9, we will be ministering there at the Eagles Nest on Chicago St.

2. A very trusted prophetic friend sent me the following letter about Barack Obama. We are not endorsing any candidate as a ministry, but we are letting people know what the mainstream media is hiding from the American people. Please read and draw your own conclusions. This election could not be more important to our country. It is truly a matter of life and death for this nation. Please, please pray and prepare to vote your Christian conscience.

Barack Obama has been caught in a revealing lie regarding his relationship with Bill Ayers but the liberal media is not reporting it. So far the only person with enough guts to talk about it on TV is Dick Morris. Dick disclosed the confirmed information on Fox News on 10-7-2008. In the best tradition of Bill Clinton’s famous declaration that the answer to the question of whether or not he was having an affair with Monica depended on “what the definition of ‘is’ is,” Barack Obama was clearly splitting hairs and concealing the truth when he said that William Ayers was “just a guy who lives in my neighborhood.”

The records of the administration of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), released last week by the University of Illinois, show that the Ayers-Obama connection was, in fact, an intimate collaboration and that it led to the only executive or administrative experience in Obama’s life.

After Walter Annenberg’s foundation offered several hundred million dollars to American public schools in the mid-’90s, William Ayers applied for $50 million for Chicago. The purpose of his application was to secure funds to “raise political consciousness” in Chicago’s public schools. After he won the grant, Ayers’s group chose Barack Obama to distribute the money. Between 1995 and 1999, Obama distributed the $50 million and raised another $60 million from other civic groups to augment it. In doing so, he was following Ayers’s admonition to grant the funds to “external” organizations, like American Community Organizations for Reform

Now (ACORN) to pair with schools and conduct programs to radicalize the students and politicize them.
Reading, math and science achievement tests counted for little in the CAC grants, but the school’s success in preaching a radical political agenda determined how much money they got.

Barack Obama should have run screaming at the sight of William Ayers and his wife, Bernadette Dohrn. Ayers has admitted bombing the U.S. Capitol building and the Pentagon, and his wife was sent to prison for failing to cooperate in solving the robbery of a Brink’s armored car in which two police officers were killed. Far from remorse, Ayers told The New York Times in September 2001 that he “wished he could have done more.”

Ayers only avoided conviction when the evidence against him turned out to be contained in illegally obtained wiretaps by the FBI. He was, in fact, guilty as sin.

That Obama should ally himself with Ayers is almost beyond understanding. The former terrorist had not repented of his views and the education grants he got were expressly designed to further them.

So let’s sum up Obama’s Chicago connections. His chief financial supporter was Tony Rezko, now on his way to federal prison. His spiritual adviser and mentor was the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, of “God damn America” fame. And the guy who got him his only administrative job and put him in charge of doling out $50 million is William Ayers, a terrorist who was a domestic Osama bin Laden in his youth.

Even apart from the details of the Obama/Ayers connection, two key points emerge:

a) Obama lied and misled the American people in his description of his relationship with Ayers as casual and arm’s-length; and

b) Obama was consciously guided by Ayers’s radical philosophy, rooted in the teachings of leftist Saul Alinksy, in his distribution of CAC grant funds.

Since Obama is asking us to let him direct education spending by the federal government and wants us to trust his veracity, these are difficulties he will have to explain in order to get the votes to win.

Now that Obama is comfortably ahead in the polls, attention will understandably shift to him. We will want to know what kind of president he would make. The fact that, within the past 10 years, he participated in a radical program of political education conceptualized by an admitted radical terrorist offers no reassurance.

Why did Obama put up with Ayers? Because he got a big job and $50 million of patronage to distribute to his friends and supporters in Chicago. Why did he hang out with Jeremiah Wright? Because he was new in town, having grown up in Hawaii and Indonesia and having been educated at Columbia and Harvard, and needed all the local introductions he could get to jump-start his political career. Why was he so close to Rezko?

Because he funded Obama’s campaigns and helped him buy a house for $300,000 less than he otherwise would have had to pay.

Not a good recommendation for a president.

THE ECONOMIC CRISIS – A GIFT FROM GOD



While speaking in Colgate, Wisconsin, during the height of the economic crisis, I made an unpremeditated statement that went something like this. “I’m not worried about the economy. This crisis is a gift from God. It is designed to turn the hearts of our nation and the world back to God.”

After having time to think about what I had said, that statement is making a lot more sense. I truly believe that God is doing the shaking He promised us in Scripture. See Haggai 2:7 and Hebrews 12:26.

In the Haggai passage God declares, “And I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory, says the Lord of hosts.”

In other words, “When I shake them, they will come.” Also, “When I shake them, I will reveal My glory in My house.”

IT’S GETTING VERY, VERY EXCITING!!!

God’s glory will be seen in His house. That’s us! We are His dwelling place today. We’ve prayed for revival. We’ve prayed for America and other western nations to come back to God, but we didn’t expect it to hit us in our wallets at the same time. Revival is supposed to bring more people (with their tithes and offerings) into our churches so we can build bigger churches and become more famous.

But God is answering our prayers His own way, and if we had understood Haggai 2:7, we may have been more prepared for it. The wonderful news is that people have actually been praying on Wall Street and in many places in the nation and the world, because of the financial crisis which followed close on the heels of the Hurricane Ike crisis, and then the California train crash.

The reason people are praying is that their other main source of security is being pulled out from under them. Christians and non-Christians alike have been operating under the same economic strategies for their own personal and family financial security. Various savings and retirement packages, insurances and investments composed of stocks and bonds, gold and silver, etc., have become our “rock”, our “fortress” and our “strong tower”. In themselves, they can be good things, but our human nature is to trust in these tangible commodities, more than in an invisible Being, with Whom we are not very intimate.

A HOLY SEPARATION

God is saying, “I want to show the difference between those who trust in Me and those who trust in the best strategies of men.” Those who trust in God will not be shaken, but those who have been trusting in man’s wisdom will be severely hurt. I have watched a lot of news in these election and economic crisis days, and observed the anger of those who have lost so much. They are feeling violated, betrayed and deprived of what they felt was rightly theirs, and they are seething with bitterness and rage.

God is simply pushing over the false Philistine gods in America and the world, because His glory is coming into the house of Dagon. It’s interesting that the two things that westerners trust in the most – investments and insurances have both been hit hard in this crisis.

SOMETHING “FISHY” IS GOING ON

Dagon was a “Fish God”. I think westerners have gotten “fished in”, thinking they have secured a comfortable retirement and future prosperity by investing the same way that the world does. These false gods cannot stand while God’s presence invades His house.

I have travelled a lot to other nations such as Mozambique and India and have seen the difference in lifestyle of the Christians there. Their only security and hope is in the presence and glory of God coming into their midst. That is all they have once they have renounced their idolatrous life. But in the west, we have divided our trust between natural gods and the One True God.

I believe God is saying that we should put away every idol and put our trust completely in Him. If we put first His Kingdom and His righteousness all the things the world seeks will be added on to us. We could invest a lot smarter than we do if we invested more into the spreading of the gospel, not just in making those already saved more comfortable. God will surely take care of us if we put His Kingdom first.

IT WORKS!

Brenda and I have had to put this to practice. We have been stretched but we are still going strong after leaving every natural means of security over nine years ago when we went on the road with a van and trailer and two pre-teenage boys. We had no life insurance or health insurance, no stocks, bonds or other investments, no savings account and no financial partners. But when the glory of God invaded a church or home meeting, the financial provision came as well.

The most exciting thing is that people have been getting revived in their spirit. They have come alive with a new hope, new vision, new awareness of value and worth and new zeal to serve the King with their gifts and talents.

WHAT’S NEXT?

I believe that this crisis is a wonderful opportunity for God to show that He is the Living God. He loves this nation, but He wants to remove our false gods in whom we trust. He wants us to practice what our money declares, “In God we trust.”

Very shortly God will reveal His secret strategy to fix our root economic problems and show us how much He loves us and the world. He will facilitate a great transfer of wealth that will bless America, Israel and the world, but it will take wealth from those who have seriously abused their stewardship of it. God’s plan is to reveal secret treasures which have been hidden from the eyes of men from before the foundation of the world. God will use them to fund the most immense and exciting time of harvest this world has ever seen.

A CRISIS WAS NEEDED

For maximum impact of God’s plan, the world needed first to be in a crisis to appreciate the solution to the problem that has been festering just under the surface. All those who love God more than their money will rejoice with this news. Those who love their money more than God will lose their joy.

What I have predicted above is a combination of personal revelation and inside information related to the revelation of other prophetic people, which I cannot share at this time. But I am confident it will soon be made manifest to the world and I am very excited about it.

Is the crisis hurting you? I am sorry for any suffering you are presently experiencing. If you have lost your income or home or business, I understand the pain. We have been very stretched ourselves in recent times. But hang on to God’s promises. You will not have to go begging if you trust Him with all your heart.

TIME TO PUT ON A FULL COURT PRESS

It’s time to take the ball away from the enemy. Let’s put on a full court press in prayer and intercession, and take charge of the financial ball game. We can do it. Our prayers are mighty in God and we can take dominion of every mountain of society in the next few years. It’s been our mandate since Genesis. It’s our mandate today. Don’t let any crisis shake you up. There will be more, but we will ride above the crises. It will be an adventure and it will be an awesome ride if we stay close to our Guide.

Yes, we've been a bit dazed by all the things God is doing and going to do. But we are very excited and burdened at the same time for the crises in our nation..

This past five days have been filled with manifestations of the presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each day brought special gifts from Heaven.

KOREAN GROUP

Wednesday night we enjoyed a wonderful time with a mostly Korean group. How hungry and open they were to the words from God they received from our little prophetic team. It was so special to see how they responded with tears of joy.

MORE REVIVAL EXCITEMENT

On Thursday, we were back in Elgin at the Eagles Nest for continued revival meetings. We had a wonderful time of praise, prayer and ministry. During ministry time, many were praying for one another and using the gifts God had given them. We prayed for the V. P. debates. We prayed that God would reveal who was righteous and expose wickedness. We came home and watched the debate thanks to our DVR. We were very pleased and excited with what we saw.

COLGATE, WISCONSIN

On Friday, we headed up to Colgate, Wisconsin for a weekend Unspeakable Joy conference. We began with an evening of worship on Friday evening. After some worship people were invited to come forward. We were asked to minister to them. The Holy Spirit blasted most of them and they spent a lot of time soaking. One elders wife had a very special heavenly experience. But that was just the beginning.

On Saturday we had meetings in the morning, afternoon and evening. In the afternoon, Brenda spoke to the ladies while I shared with the men. Of course, Brenda was prophesying a good part of the time. People were rather blown away and rejoicing and weeping as usual.

I shared the importance of the coming elections and how God wants to bless if we fast and pray and seek His face and do everything we can to elect leaders that value life and righteousness. God gave me a strong anointing to share some biblical truths relating to this subject. Being in Wisconsin, a swing state in the election was a great privilege for me as I believed God would use me to stir people up to pray and seek God's face asking for mercy for this nation.

MY FAVORITE MOMENT OF THE WEEKEND

We did lots of ministry throughout the weekend, but my highlight came on Saturday evening. We were praying for people at the front of the sanctuary and a precious ten-year-old girl was brought to me for prayer. She had hurt her hand and wrist doing handstands. She was in a lot of pain.

I put my hands on her wrist. I asked Jesus to please show His love to her and heal her. When I finished she said the wrist was feeling OK but there was a lot of pain in her fingers and she couldn't really open them without pain. Again, I held her fingers and just asked Jesus to please take the pain away and heal her.

I began to pry open her fingers and then she began to open them all the way. Tears started coming out of her eyes. In my great faith (not), I thought she was crying because she was in pain. But it didn't look like tears of pain. I asked her, "Are you crying because you are happy?"

She nodded her head. She was totally healed, opening and closing her hands and hugging her mom. It was one of the most precious moments in ministry. It wasn't raising the dead or healing cancer, but it was a little special token of the love of Jesus and I rejoice in being a part of it. This morning, she was still completely healed. Thank you, Jesus!

SUNDAY MORNING.

I believe another gal was healed of stiffness in the neck this morning when we prayed. It was another exciting meeting with many people coming forward for a touch from Jesus and many people staying for a couple of extra hours to get a word through Brenda. It was about a five hour service.

Revival meetings continue in Elgin Thursday - Saturday.

And Michele Perry is coming for the weekend and will be ministering at the Eagles Nest on Friday, Saturday and Monday. She will be at 5 C Church in Rockford on Sunday morning. It will be an incredible feast, but we'll have to pick and choose where we can be.

REVIVAL CONTINUES

Greetings Saints,

The Elgin Revival Outpouring has been extended indefinitely. We can't be there on a regular basis, but we will be there tomorrow, Thursday night at 7 pm. God moved mightily last week and used many saints to minister to one another. I heard God say, "Activate!" and that's what we tried to do and God did the rest. Friday and Saturday, a team from Rick Joyner's Morning Star will be ministering. It should be exciting.

For those who can't make it to Elgin tomorrow, please pray for the U.S. V.P. debates. We will be praying at the revival meetings and watching it later at night. We encourage you also to join with us in a season of fasting until the elections. We see these elections as a real conflict between good and evil, and a matter of life and death for America.

Please, please, do everything you can to elect candidates that support life. Please awaken every Christian you know to the danger of losing this election to death candidates. We are facing terrible times and greater crises if we choose wrong as a nation. But God has such incredible blessings ready for us if we choose rightly.

I believe we will win, no matter what the polls say, but I have a strong urgency in my spirit to activate everyone. Brenda also sees such evil when she looks at one of the candidates that supports every kind of abortion, including partial birth abortion.

Also pray for the Canadian elections which take place later this month. They have a Christian Prime Minister and needs a clear majority in Parliament to achieve his goals.

We have had some wonderful meetings recently, including a Sunday service with an Eastern European congregation, led by a Russian pastor. We were so blessed. Their worship was incredible.

We are in Colgate, Wisconsin, this weekend, Friday - Sunday. Please pray for great anointing and breakthroughs. We are asking God for more signs and wonders and miracles to build everyone's faith, including ours.

TRANSITION TIME

Dear Friends,

It truly is a time of transition for all of us in the Kingdom of God and in the USA and Canada and the world. And it is also decision time. Our decisions determine our transitions.

REVIVAL

The Florida revival had many critics and was far from perfect. The enemy was able to get in and bring it down. But real world-wide revival was birthed through it and many of us were touched powerfully and know that it was real and it was God. Our decision is whether to let it die or resurrect it and perfect it.

This Thursday, Friday and Saturday we will be inviting the presence of God and the Spirit of Revival to our meetings in Elgin. We expect a visitation of humility, hunger, healing and hearing God's voice. We expect people to fall in love with Jesus and to be delivered from bondages and to become sold-out servants of the King of Kings. The meetings are at The Eagles Nest - 270 East Chicago Street, Elgin, IL. 60120. Vance Murphy will be with us on Friday and Saturday evening. There is more info on our website itinerary. The following week we will be there again, expecting more miracles and more of God.

POLITICAL TRANSITION

I am copying a statement by Dutch Sheets which corrects some errors in a previous letter I copied in my newsletter. Before I do, I'd like to say that we all have to make decisions that will influence our transition. We know we will have a new president. Who it will be is still up in the air. If we elect a pro-life team, our transition will be into a time of mercy and blessing on America. If we choose a pro-death team, we will be transitioning into a time of more darkness and trouble.

I do have some private prophetic information from Bob Jones (through a friend) which I am not free to share. But believe me, it is more important than you can imagine. Please take this election more seriously than any before. It is in our hands and we all can influence others if we get informed.

Our chances are looking much better, but we are not there yet. We must decide to do everything we can, especially to pray and petition God to show mercy and turn hearts towards Him. Also, every Christian should be registered to vote. In many states you need to be registered well before the election. Please do it now if you are not yet registered.

If you live in a swing state you have a great opportunity and responsibility before God to swing the vote towards life and government reform. These states could include Washington, Oregon, New Mexico, Colorado, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, New Jersey and others. Some were solid for death, but now are very close. They need another big push towards life.

Please make a decsion that will truly reflect your transition into a more blessed future for us and the whole world. Let me stress that who we elect will determine whether we will be in harvest time or greater trouble. The whole world is depending on us to choose wisely.

CORRECTION CONCERNING DUCTCH SHEETS REVELATION

IMPORTANT CORRECTION FROM DUTCH SHEETS

There has been an email circulating with quotes from Pastor Dutch regarding Senator McCain and Governor Palin. This was NOT an email sent by Pastor Dutch. Someone took notes during a Sunday service and sent out this email. There are several inaccuracies within its content that warrant this statement.

The comment about Sarah Palin starting the prayer movement in Alaska is incorrect. She did not start the prayer movement, however, she is a woman of prayer. Pastor Dutch did not state that she is Pentecostal; the media has published that.

The comments regarding the vow made by Senator McCain while a POW are not correct. Pastor Dutch was told that someone sent Mr. McCain a letter that was prophetic in nature and asked if he had made promises to God while a POW. It was very personal in nature and his response was not disclosed.

Lastly, the statement about Sarah Palin being the 44th Vice President is wrong. If elected into office, Governor Palin would be in the 44th administration but would be the 47th vice president.

SEPTEMBER SCHEDULE

We had a great home meeting in Arlington Heights last Friday and will be doing a couple more private meetings in the next two weeks in different locations. The rest of the time I will be trying to finish the book that I'm working on. Since I began in July, by God's grace, I have written over 45,000 words. I'm probably about two-thirds complete.

Our next public service will be Sunday afternoon, September 14, at 2 pm at the Church of the Firstborn. The address is: 1938 W. 51st St. Chicago, IL.

After that we will do another private meeting on Monday and then we begin the Elgin Revival meetings on Thursday, September 18. We will have Vance Murphy from Atlanta on the first two nights and our youth team on Saturday. The host church is Eagles Nest on Chicago St. in Elgin. On that Saturday, Brenda and I will be ministering in Palatine, but our son, Timothy, and our team will bless you all.

The following week it will be mostly Brenda and me leading the revival from Sept. 21-23, each evening in Elgin. We trust that it will be just the beginning of an ongoing revival.

On Saturdays, our team will lead outreach ministries to evangelize the region. This could be a very exciting time for those with a passion to reach others with the love and power of Jesus.

On Sunday, September 28, we will be at Christ for all Nations Ministries in Northfield, IL. at 2 pm.

A LITTLE MORE POLITICS

The following is my personal view and not a ministry endorsement of a political candidate.

So much is happening so fast with all the hurricanes and conventions at the same time, but I'd like to share some private information. Liberals are trying to dig up all the dirt they can about Sarah Palin, but I heard some very encouraging news from our son, Ken.

Ken met a pastor from Alaska who was bragging about their Christian governor, before he knew she would be nominated as a vice presidential candidate. He was friends with the pastor of the church Sarah and her family attend. It is a church that believes in the fullness of the Holy Spirit. It just happened that for the last two weeks Governor Palin had been spending two to three hours per day in the prayer room at the church where she could seek God alone. Obviously, she was praying about the decision she was facing, knowing her family would come under scrutiny, etc.

Sarah is the first Pentecostal/Charismatic ever on a ticket for President or Vice President. She has shown tenacity in fighting corruption and is just what Washington D.C. needs. We feel she is well prepared to be president if she had the opportunity, namely because she has learned to seek God's wisdom. We are quite excited.

On the other hand, we have a presidential candidate that is SO NOT pro-life that it is scary. If you want to know more, please check out the following clip. It may shock you but it is undeniably true.

I am not the slightest bit prejudiced. I would love to vote for a black person or Hispanic or Asian if they valued human life, but I think for this time I will have to vote for a white man and a white woman.

UPDATE ON ROLLAND BAKER

Contrary to what I was told by someone in Mozambique, Rolland did not have any mini-strokes. He was under a spiritual and psychological attack by the enemy, designed to take him out. But he is recovering steadily and I believe is being totally healed.

I had two visions in Mozambique regarding the Bakers and know that because they are opening the gates into the land of darkness, they have come under severe attacks which never let up. Those who have come to help them have suffered as well, but they bear the brunt of the most attacks. But I saw God flood the gates with light and the attackers had to back off. Then the armies of God poured through the gates they had opened and took the light into the darkness. They became gatekeepers, blessing those who passed through the gates.

The second vision was of the land being flooded by the presence and glory of God coming in like water from the ocean after the floodgates were opened by them. God is going to give them the nation and teach them the ways of breakthrough for other nations.

GOD BLESS AMERICA

I have watched a lot of the conventions and comments in the last two weeks as both political parties did their best to make their case to the American people. There was a lot of stretching the truth and ignoring facts, as always happens, but regardless of the political games, I believe God has given us a clear choice in the next elections.

Some, especially many of our African American friends, feel that finally Martin Luther King's dream is coming true. And we do rejoice that America has matured to the point that they could elect a non-white person to the most important position in government. And how awesome it would be if this man was in agreement with the heart of God for America. He is very gifted and brilliant, but I as an individual voter, cannot vote for him unless he drastically changes his positions on the life of the unborn and newborn.

He voted to protect the barbaric practice of partial birth abortions - a grizzly unthinkable procedure and he truly did oppose a bill to protect the life of babies born alive in botched abortion attempts. He is more pro-abortion than almost anyone in the land, according to his record. Because of the shedding of innocent blood, there is great danger of judgment on America, and we have already seen some of that.

As long as we legalize abortion, we cannot prosper, no matter how brilliant our president or congress are. We need God's forgiveness and His favor.

Meanwhile, we have been hearing prophecies recently from at least two well-known prophets regarding the fact that God would give us a special Vice President - that He was not giving up on America. One was Bob Jones. He said, "We didn't get the choice we wanted for president, but God has a special person for Vice President."

I don't think America was ready to elect a former minister, but they might go along with a mother of five, who also happened to be the most popular governor in the union. Not only that, but she is a Spirit-filled servant of God who is fearless like Deborah. I have been showered with emails about her speaking in church in Alaska and sharing her love for Jesus.

Prophecy about McCain & Palin

Peg and I have just returned from our Sunday AM service. As you know we have been involved in 90 days of Hosting the Lord's Presence and its been powerful...in a personal way. We knew there has been lots of warfare because when we get home we are tired and need a nap. The Sunday AM celebrations have been just worship with some intercessory prayer but no preaching or teaching. This morning after an extended time of worship Dutch Sheets, our pastor, shared an exhortation, as he called it. During this Peg and I both were about to explode in our spirits.

I believe you are aware that Dutch was used by the Lord to call prayer before the 2000 Bush election that was so close. He said this morning that this election is perhaps even more critical than 2000 because of the Supreme Court. If the right political posture is not elected, we stand to lose decades of progress and the reprocussions are enormous. Last year Chuck Pierce and Greg Hood (both prophets) prophesied that in 2008 we are not electing a president but the vice president. Dutch said he could get no release in his heart to back Huckabee even though pressured by many in the body of Christ. Huckabee is a good man and a strong believer, but he was not God's choice. Dutch also told us that he knows a man who gave McCain a prophetic word that McCain had made a vow to God when he was at the bottom during his POW days and now God was calling in that vow. McCain was visibly moved by this word.

Dutch was traveling to Texas on Friday and when he landed in the airport, his wife called and told him to get to the TV asap. He watched McCain introduce Governor Palin and said he began to weep, even though he knew nothing about her. (I experienced the very same thing and we have had reports of many others including Newt Gingrich.) He asked what the significance of this 44-year-old woman was and he saw the clock said 4:44. He asked the Lord what that was and the Lord said, "Ezekiel 44:4." "He brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple; so I looked, and behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD; and I fell on my face. A few years ago Dutch and Chuck Pierce went on a 50-state tour prophesying over the state their part in God's purposes for the U.S. At the meeting in Texas that evening Dutch was relaying his experience about the Governor to Chuck who said, "Do you remember what the word was the Lord gave us for Alaska ?" The Lord had shown them that Alaska is the alpha and omega state. It is the place where things begin and end. You may realize that some of the Alaskan islands are on the other side of the Dateline meaning that the day begins and ends in Alaska . The Lord said that Alaska is a gateway for the Ancient of Days to come into the nation . The Lord told Dutch (back in Alaska ) to tell the people of Alaska to look forward into their destiny. Alaska has an assignment to open doors and a place where prophets and intercessors were trained. It turns out that the Governor who was raised in a Pentecostal Church , according to our newspaper, founded the prayer movement in Alaska .

We will be having the last of our 90 days beginning in a major gathering Sept 11th. The significance of this is that Chuck Pierce had prophecied that there would be 7 years of war and Sept 11 marks the end of that time and the entering of the 8th year. Someone said that 44 = 4+4 or 8.

Dutch asked why he and Chuck were in Texas for this announcement and the Lord reminded him that the word for Texas was that it is a prophetic state - that the Lord's purpose for Texas is this prophetic function.

Dutch then decreed she will enter the White House. Now, if you don't know him, he is cautious, has his feet on the ground, and never goes of "half cocked" when it comes to prophecy. He said that he believes as of Friday the U.S. has come into a new level of alignment with the Lord and His purposes. By the way, the Governor will be the 44th Vice President. He continued to declare that she will be the Margaret Thatcher of America including that she would be President one day. Many other things came forth. I literally thought I would explode because the Lord had shown me many of these same things yesterday.

I believe we especially need to rally prayer for the family and children of the Governor. They will be targeted by the enemy and I believe we need special prayer for the oldest daughter. Please take this seriously in your prayers.

Greetings Friends,

It's been a long time since my last letter and we've been on the road for awhile. Brenda spent time with family in Washington State and I met her after driving to Orlando. We enjoyed the House of Hope conference and shared some time with special people like Bobby Conner, Chonda Pierce and Cory Russel. It was all very enjoyable. Brenda was amazing and awesome as a speaker - getting better every time.

REVIVAL MEETINGS IN ELGIN

We are excited about the Elgin Revival events coming up September 18-20 and 25-27. We are working on the brochure and will get our website updated soon. We have added many things to the itinerary that we have not yet posted, but we really want to focus on revival during this time.

SOME POLITICAL THOUGHTS

We are watching and praying as the political process unfolds. We are asking God for mercy and favor for America. Today we were encouraged by John McCain's choice for a running mate - a strong pro-life governor from Alaska. We believe God has answered the prayers of many Christians who have been disappointed somewhat by the first round of nominees. The Saddleback forum was quite encouraging and today was also a favorable sign for us.

I can't say thanks enough to those who have supported us, especially when we are not doing a full slate of meetings or we are doing missions trips, etc. Your prayers and gifts have protected us from the devourer.

Brenda is visiting a lot of family, including her mom and dad, in Washington State this weekend, and will join me in Orlando next weekend for the House of Hope Conference where she will be speaking.

THE CALL DC

Today, Friday, I will head with the kids to Washington D.C. for TheCall D.C. It's going to be a tremendous time in changing the moral and political direction of our country. Please pray for this event all day Saturday. If you have God TV, you can watch it live. If not, you can find it on the internet on the God TV website. There should be several hundred thousand on the mall for this event.

REVIVAL MEETINGS IN ELGIN

Pastors Robert Whitt and Mark Ahrens of Elgin have asked us to lead revival services in Elgin in September. Please, if you can, set aside the last two weekends for this special time. The meetings will run Thursday through Saturday for at least two weekends. There will be various worship leaders and perhaps another guest speaker, but the focus will be on the presence and glory of God and the healing power that comes when He comes.

Please pray for these meetings. And please keep praying for Donna's family. Also pray for a young man of 13 who is still fighting for his life.

I just got back from Mozambique, but before I share about that, I have a couple of other important items to share with you. It is wonderful to be home with family, but I'm so glad I got to go to Africa with our team.

Welcome to those who are getting this newsletter for the first time - mainly those who were with us in Africa.

DONNA WITH JESUS

Thanks to all who prayed with us to the end for a miracle. We lost Donna to Heaven this Sunday afternoon. Paul was with her as she slipped away. With his fifteen-year-old daughter they spent a little time asking God to bring her back, but finally let her go to enjoy her reward. Please pray for Paul and his daughters, her family and others who have to go on without her.

We can't answer every "why" question, but I do know that Jesus wants us to contend all the more for the healing anointing. We also need to continue to build and raise the level of faith in the body of Christ and especially focus on raising up the younger generation to do exploits for God. They will usher in the greatest healing and miracle revival. Our older generation needs to bless them with everything we have to give them, especially our love and prophetic encouragement. The days will come soon when cancer will not win the battle

INVITATION TO NATHAN'S GRAD PARTY AT OUR HOUSE THIS SUNDAY - AUG. 10

We don't have a lot of street addresses to send invitations to and the time is so short that we decided just to invite anyone on our e-mail mailing list that wants to come and help us celebrate Nathan's High School graduation. The party will run from 2 pm to 7 pm this Sunday afternoon. Our address is 15648 Bombay Blvd., South Beloit, IL 61080.

To save him answering the same question a hundred times, he has no immediate plans, except to keep serving in the Elgin House of Prayer and working at Starbucks. He'll take some time to seek God for wisdom as to what he should prepare for. For now, he is taking voice training and working on keyboard as well. He has a sensitive spirit and has done some prophetic team ministry. He is extremely gifted in computers and also interested in science. We know God will use him in a special way.

MOZAMBIQUE REPORT

ROLLAND AND HEIDI

First of all, my second and third contacts with Rolland were very encouraging. I believe God has been touching him. He was much more alert and alive when I saw him this past week. He even spoke to the Missions School for the first time this summer. He was almost totally his old self and shared a great message with the school. I had a lunch meeting scheduled with him but he had forgotten that they had scheduled him to speak to another group that lunch.

Heidi is also doing better after a very hard day last Thursday or so. I got to say a few encouraging words to her a couple of times and she was very kind to me in a number of ways. We, as a ministry, want to do so much more for Iris Ministries. They could use more financial support as well as more qualified workers in various places and bases.

OUR WONDERFUL TEAM

Our team was amazing and such a blessing to me. I loved being a papa to them. Most of them were between the ages of 17 and 27 or so. I miss them all already. We all got to prophesy together to the missions staff there. They prophesied every day to each other and had lots of practice by the time we ministered to the staff.

With some amazing leaders taking care of all the planning, etc., I had time to visit with other speakers and leaders. Most of my free time was spent working on my big book project. I might be about one half done at this point on the rough draft. There is still a lot to go and I would appreciate your prayers for the next few weeks.

THANKS

Many of you prayed for our family while I was gone. A few friends sent a much appreciated blessing as well. We appreciate you all so much. Whenever we do a missions trip, it requires a sacrifice and like everything else we do it by faith. God has been so faithful and we have always been taken care of by His loving hand.

I also had some powerful revelations while in Mozambique. I hope to share some of them later.

Greetings friends,

I just have a few minutes left in this internet office to give you a quick report.

First of all please pray for Heidi and Rolland. Another crisis today. This time with Pastors in training. Five of them were expelled from the Bible School because of bad attitudes. Heidi was really broken and could hardly speak. They also are being hit financially and she has so much pressure. Meanwhile, Rolland is trying to recover from a couple of mild strokes. He has slowed down greatly and is not himself. I believe I will have another chance to see him and to pray for him. Pray for a miracle.

Also keep praying for us and for Donna. Brenda has been under a lot of pressure without me home to carry the burdens. Part of the pressure is seeing Donna suffer so much. We are needing much prayer for Donna and Paul and for ourselves.

Meanwhile there are many wonderful things happening here in Africa. A great outreach last week in the bush. A precious young deaf and dumb teen-ager (I think) was healed and heard and spoke for the first time in his life. A church is being planted. This was their second trip in a row to this village.

There have been wonderful sessions with the team. All fifteen are developing their prophetic gifts and the unity and harmony is unprecedented. They are all willing to defer to others and have such hungry hearts for God.

On Sunday we visited a wonderful church not too far away. I got to preach to a very responsive crowd. The team did skits and sang, but the greatest singing was from the people. They were amazing. I'd love to bring them to the States to sing for us. I can't wait until our part of the transfer of wealth takes place. We will start our Chicago Sending Center and bless missions like never before.

Another need here is for Michelle Perry, our one-legged missionary in the Sudan. She is here for refreshing and has many needs for help and finances there. She has taken in over 80 orphans in just a few months. What an overwhelming thing, except for God. I wish we could do much more for these amazing missionaries.

Greetings Friends,

THE TRIP

I leave for Mozambique via Atlanta and South Africa, tomorrow morning. It's a trip I take with the knowledge that God has ordained it and He will take care of our family and the ministry. I do ask for your prayers for God's hand to be on me and our team, as well as the family at home. I received a phone call this morning from a prophetic friend who shared that this trip has a special purpose and that I am in His perfect will. That was encouraging. Every trip is different and full of surprises.

The most exciting thing about this trip is the wonderful group of fifteen friends that are going with me. They are a passionate, bunch who love Jesus with all their hearts. Pray that they will see some amazing miracles and fall in love with God and His children in a greater way than ever. Pray that we will all be a tremendous blessing to Iris Ministries.

MEETINGS

We had a wonderful time at the Bloomingdale FGBM meeting on Monday night. A special anointing fell on us as we ministered along with our team to a very crowded room of hungry people. We also heard a testimony of a healing that had happened after we prayed for the leader on our previous visit in the Spring. It was a very encouraging night.

Thursday night we ministered in Rockford to a group from Life Church in Rockford. We were expecting about 10 or 12 people. But the word got out and we ended up ministering to about thirty people instead. There were some very special people, including younger children and they all seemed to be touched by the Lord.

After returning home from Africa on August 3rd, I will be spending as much time as possible working on my book project, but we will have time to take some meetings before we head for Florida to minister at a House of Hope Conference which begins on August 21.

DONNA

Our dear friend, Donna, is home again and being cared for by her family as well as members of our team, including, Jill Ruh, an R. N., and Jessie Seiler, our intern. She is back in an atmosphere of faith after being in an environment that was simply preparing her to die. Please pray for her now more than ever. Her miracle could be just a prayer away. Cancer is NOTmore powerful than the God we pray to.

It's been a couple of weeks since our last letter. So much has happened since then, but I want to let you know what's coming up so you can pray for us.

FGBM

Monday, July 14, we minister at the Bloomingdale Full Gospel Business Men's meeting - all are invited. We start at 7:30. Location is the clubhouse at the Bloomingdale Golf Course located near the corner of Glen Ellyn and Lake Street (Hwy 20). Please pray and come if you can.

MOZAMBIQUE

We have another meeting or two scheduled with various leaders later in the week and then on Saturday I leave for Mozambique once again. Please pray for me and our team of fifteen on-fire folk - most of them young adults and teens. Pray for our family left behind. They have schedules of their own and need God's grace to carry on.

DONNA

Doctors have done all they can. Now it's time for the Great Physician to do what only He can do. Will you make your appeal for her before the courts of Heaven. Her body is shutting down from cancer and the radical treatments she has undergone in recent days.

OPEN HEART EXPANDED HOUSE FELLOWSHIP GATHERINGS

Our team has been busy planning a fall schedule of network gatherings. If you are in the Chicago area and want to fellowship with us and our team, please let us know and we'll get the info to you. We plan to meet the first and third Sunday of every month and the second and fourth Thursday of each month. Meetings will include training in deliverance and inner healing, as well as worship and the Word.

REVIVAL

So many responded to our invitation to join the list of those who want to be informed when revival meetings are held. We have been meeting with some pastors and hunger for revival is increasing. Some churches have been seeing unusual things and great hunger in their churches.

THE CALL

TheCall D.C. will attract around a million people calling on God for revival and forgiveness for America. The date is August 16. If you can make it, please do.

To all Chicago area pastors. Che Ahn told us that if we could get around 100 pastors who would support a Call in northern Illinois, they would probably come. If you are a pastor or you can represent yours and want to do this, please let me know. I believe there are far more than 100 that would help support it.

CHICAGO SENDING CENTER

We met on Saturday with a small group who have a vision to send provision to Africa. God is refining our concept of the Sending Center. We believe God will give us a facility very soon and we can begin training people and sending them into the harvest field.

NEW BOOK

I haven't written a new book in over a year, but I am quite busy now, working on one that may be the most important thing I have ever done for the Kingdom. It is not my own book but I am writing it on behalf of someone else. We are hoping to release it well before the end of the year. I can't share much more about it at this time, but I would so appreciate your prayers for me for Heaven's anointing as I write.

Greetings Saints,

What a spiritual feast we had for five days in Deerfield, Illinois, at the Chicago River Conference. And what an honor it was to minister at the same conference with James Goll, Che Ahn and Charles Stock. The apostolic and prophetic anointing was so strong and people were powerfully touched. Many were healed and filled with the joy of the Lord. The love of God was revealed through the people and the speakers. We were especially touched by the passion of 25-30 Korean youth. These kids were so on fire and hungry for more.

As usual, wherever Brenda was, a line would form and she ministered until they had to get us out of the building. She also spoke with a powerful anointing in the two sessions when we ministered. I am married to a truly amazing woman of God!!!

James Goll delivered two of the most powerful and impacting messages I have heard in a long time. We were deeply moved by the Friday morning message, teaching on the resurrection of Lazarus, regarding the prayer that God hears. It was truly awesome and while he talked about his own wife's battle with cancer, I knew God was touching our friend, Donna. I just found out that she is doing much better than expected. Please pray for more healing virtue to flow into her body and that no new tumors would appear anywhere in her body. Thank you so much for your prayers and intercession.

Greetings Saints everywhere,

First of all, welcome to all the new folk on our mailing list!

Many Christians we meet in various places or talk to on the phone from other regions still haven't heard that there is a historic revival of international proportions going on right now. It started in Florida, but is reaching many nations through internet and TV.

CHICAGO RIVER CONFERENCE

At this moment we are watching Che Ahn lead the healing service on God TV. Tomorrow night he will be with us in Deerfield, Illinois at the Chicago River Conference. We expect him to bring a strong dose of the revival with him. He will do three back to back services in less than 24 hours. Then on Thursday night and Friday morning James Goll will minister. He has also spent time in the revival and is an amazing prophet and preacher.

Brenda and I will minister Friday and Saturday afternoons and Charles Stock will do the services on Friday night, Saturday morning and evening, as well as Sunday morning. All of us have received something in the revival in Florida ourselves. Come if you can and get touched by this revival. We expect miracles every service. Services are at the Wilmot Elementary School in Deerfield at 7 pm, 10 am and 2 pm.

HEALING GLORY CONFERENCE

We just finished being a part of the Healing Glory Conference in Kenosha. Georgian brought three other speakers from Canada, Florida and South Africa. What a great time! I personally received awesome prophetic ministry from Jim Paul and Kobus von Rensburg. Many people were touched and we were all stretched and challenged with some radical teaching.

OTHER AWESOME MEETINGS

We ministered to about 100 people at the Watering Hole meeting on Friday morning. It was an awesome time ministering to revival-hungry people.

On Saturday, Brenda ministered with a team to a ladies retreat in Sterling, Illinois. They spent several hours prophesying to all the ladies. Everyone got touched.

PLEASE PRAY FOR DONNA

Our dear friend, Donna, has recurring cancer in her left lung. Treatment is getting very aggressive, but she is very weak and has lost a lot of weight. The doctors are expecting the worst. This fight has been going on for several years, and she is such a trooper. Cancer has come and gone in several parts of her body. Donna has a healing destiny and the enemy wants her out. But God has often waited until the last moment to show his power. When the doctor says there is no hope, God gets all the glory. So please pray earnestly with us.

We also have others who have asked for prayer. Some of our team members have close relatives fighting cancer and other diseases as well, and we lift them all up in prayer.

Adventures in Saskatchewan

Greetings Friends,

Special greetings to those in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan, who are newly on our mailing list. You guys are wonderful and treated us with great country hospitality. We had two wonderful meetings and great fellowship. God moved and encouraged and strengthened the saints in this Southern Saskatchewan town. Now we are farther north on the east side of the province north of Yorkton in a town called Sturgis. We have had one meeting last night and finish tonight. It's a cute country church very similar to the first one we pastored in Parry, Saskatchewan. What a sweet group of saints. God blessed with some special revelation and prophetic ministry.

UNEXPECTED ADVENTURE

The rest of our readers don't know yet that our trip through North Dakota was quite eventful, when suddenly a truck tire and wheel appeared on the road in front of our car. Brenda was driving and the right wheels of the car hit the tire and bounced over it. It blew the front tire and did some damage to the back tire and rim. Brenda did an amazing job of keeping the car going straight and pulling off onto the shoulder. The car behind us lost both right tires and needed a tow truck. We put on the little emergency spare and drove over a hundred miles to Minot. We spent the night and tried to find rims and tires in the morning. They had none at all in town, including the wrecking yards.

We continued up into Saskatchewan and ended up putting about 400 miles on the little "donut" tire. In Assiniboia the Tirecraft Store was able to provide rims and get the right tires to put us back on the road again with a very smooth ride.

After the meetings we went to Regina, where we had spent the first five years of our marriage as well as two years of Bible College and University before marriage. The city has changed a lot and along with the whole province is growing again in fulfillment of Cindy Jacob's prophesy that Saskatchewan would have a big boom and prosper. God has done some amazing things, replacing a socialist government with a Christian Premier and a conservative government. Canada also has a Christian Prime Minister, even though there are not many born-again Christians in the land and many laws are still very anti-Christian.

WISCONSIN AND ILLINOIS CONFERENCES COMING RIGHT UP

In just one week we will begin the Healing Glory Conference in Kenosha at the Lake Shore Tabernacle. I mistakenly wrote Lakeview in my last letter. Come Friday night and hear Jim Paul, a great prophet and healing minister. Kobus van Rensburg will speak at least three times, including twice on Sunday. He has an amazing healing/miracle ministry in South Africa. Final details should be on the website soon.

On June 25, we begin the Chicago River Conference with Che Ahn, James Goll, Charles Stock and Ben and Brenda Peters at the Wilmot Elementary School in Deerfield. Meetings will be at 10 am, 2 pm and 7 pm. We minister on Friday and Saturday afternoon. We'd love to see many of you there.

Keep praying for us and the presence of God on our meetings.

Below is a part of Mary Zell's letter to our team. Being a bit lazy, I'm copying her into my letter. This truly will be a great time and many people will be healed of major physical health problems.

This is going to be another great time with the Lord and His Anointed Servants. In talking to Georgian's personal assistant, I have learned that Prophet Kobus is outstanding and has a powerful healing ministry. His ministry owns a huge Christian TV station in Africa that broadcasts all over Africa, part of Europe and Asia and is coming to the U.S. Georgian makes it a point to go to his church in S. Africa twice a year because so many exciting things are going on there. Prophet Kobus will be bringing two of his three sons who do the worship for his services. I've also been told they are very humble people and love to minister to whomever, wherever and whenever - as God leads them.

Pastor Jim Paul is from Hamilton, Ontario. His church, Metro Church International, is a satellite of Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship under John Arnott. Pastor Paul is very gifted prophetically. I'm told we will be Blessed beyond measure by his ministry to us.

The conference starts Friday night at 7:00 p.m. with Jim Paul; Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Jim Paul; Saturday Afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with Prophet Kobus; Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. with Prophet Kobus; and Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. with Prophet Kobus. Prophet Kobus will also be speaking Sunday morning at Lakeshore Tabernacle at 10:15.

Dear Friends,

Tomorrow morning (Sunday) we leave early heading for Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. We ask you all for prayer covering for this trip which will involve two separate regions of Saskatchewan, Canada. I spent ten years of my childhood and seven years of higher education and work in Saskatchewan. Brenda and I met there and spent the first five years of our marriage there. It was where we first served as senior pastors. It was the place I had my awesome personal revival. We have deep roots there and I pray that we can bless the spiritual soil where we were powerfully blessed and launched from.

CORRECTION:

Last newsletter I mistakenly reported that the Healing Glory Conference was to be held in Lakeview Tabernacle. The correct name is Lake Shore Tabernacle. Refer to my last letter for details. They should be on the website soon also.

Last night we joined with Damon Stuart and others to worship and seek God for revival. God touched us in a powerful way. People were praying for one another all over the room. I shared a few things there that God was speaking. One thing God is saying is that we should never again be satisfied with religion without the power of God. We need to be those who press in to touch the Master.

PRAYER REQUEST FOR HEALING

We are still contending for the full manifestation of healing from cancer for Donna. We ministered to her last night and the night before. She is such a trooper and we pray that she begins to show more evidence of healing. This wife and mother has a healing ministry herself and the enemy wants to take her out. He can't take her out. She is healed in Jesus' name. Please join us in thanking God for this victory.

Below is a copy of a letter sent by our dear friend, Matt Lee, of Chicago River Church. Last week we had a wonderful time in God's presence stirring up Chicago Revival Fires. Many desire to keep coming together. Tomorrow night (Friday) is another wonderful opportunity. Brenda and I plan to attend and would love to see many of you there.

This is another trumpet sound for a worship / prayer / testimony meeting of Lakeland FL.
Those who have been to Lakeland revival recently will share the testimony. There will be prayer for the revival in this region and time of impartation.
Let us keep the fire going. God is up to something, and we, Chicagoans, are crying out, "Lord, do not pass us by."

MEETING UPDATE

In the past few days we have had two wonderful meetings. The Elgin FGBM Fellowship meeting on Thursday was awesome in the way our team worked together. About nine team members showed up to help us in the ministry and it was just awesome. On Sunday morning we shared at the Marengo Assembly of God church and had a very precious response from the people. God downloaded fresh revelation and blessed us with His presence and prophetic anointing. To God be the glory.

On Sunday morning we leave for a full week into Saskatchewan, Canada, starting in Assiniboia and then moving to Churchbridge. Please pray for a safe and blessed trip where many saints are activated into greater destiny.

After that trip we come home to a very busy schedule:

June 19: Private Home Meeting

June 20: Watering Hole meeting at 9 am. (Location to be announced)

June 20 - 22: Beginning of Healing Glory Revival in Kenosha with GEORGIAN BANOV, JIM PAUL AND KOBUS van RENSBURG at Lakeview Tabernacle in Kenosha, WI. This will be awesome. Bring the sick, including the worst cases you know.

June 21: Brenda at Ladies mini-retreat at Living Bread Church in Sterling, IL - Morning and Afternoon

June 25 - 29 Exciting Conference at Chicago River Church in Deerfield, IL at Wilmot Elementary School - 795 Wilmot Rd. Speakers include JAMES GOLL, CHE AHN, CHARLES AND ANNE STOCK and B n B PETERS.
